The boys’ jealousy was overflowing.

"And she’s letting him! She’s not even mad!"
"I want Princess Nuri to treat like that!" one girl sighed dreamily.
Yet beneath the gossip, everyone had the sa question in their minds—how?
How could Mika, a cursed support-class student, have such a close connection with Princess Nuri of all people?

Mika, anwhile, sighed as Nuri switched arms, mumbling that his left arm was ’too hard to bite.’
He already knew exactly what everyone was thinking and he also knew the answer they’d never believe.

If anyone in the academy heard that, they’d laugh.

That a cursed human like him, rejected even by other humans, could ever be on friendly terms with a princess from the most powerful demi-human race in existence.

The Dragon King, grateful to Nadia and the Battle Angels for freeing his people from the Eternal Queen’s control, agreed instantly.
Together, they ford the foundation for peace between both worlds, signing new accords and creating the frawork for travel and coexistence.

The Battle Angels and the Royal Dragons began attending each other’s celebrations, feasts, and etings.

That’s how Mika—barely five years old at the ti—first t Nuri.
He’d been dragged along by Nadia to attend the Dragon King’s nine-hundredth birthday celebration.
He barely rembered the endless halls of obsidian, the glowing lights, the roaring laughter of dragons in their humanoid forms—but he vividly rembered her.
A small girl with shiny scales on her cheeks, stubby horns, and wings too tiny to lift her off the ground properly.
She’d marched right up to him, puffed her chest, and declared:
"Human boy, kneel! You’re in the presence of a princess!"
He had stared blankly at her. Then shrugged.
And that was the start of their strange, lifelong bickering.
She’d always been feisty—biting him, headbutting him, throwing little sparks of fla whenever she got mad—but he’d never taken it seriously.
To him, she was just an excitable little dragon girl trying to look tough.
To her, he was the annoying human boy who always made her flustered without aning to.
And though she’d pretended to hate him, he’d always seen the spark of joy in her eyes whenever they t again.

Now, as she bit his arm again and wagged her tail behind her, Mika couldn’t help but smile fondly.
He stared at her quietly, his expression softening.
And Nuri, noticing his gaze, suddenly froze mid-bite.
Her face turned red, and she pulled back quickly, stamring,
"W-What are you staring at like that for?! You don’t have to look at with such greedy eyes! I-I know I’m beautiful, but—"
She covered her face with her tiny hands.
"You could at least try to control yourself, idiot!"
Mika didn’t stop looking. His amused smirk only deepened.
Flustered, she whipped her tail and turned away, huffing.
"Why are you even here in the first place, Mika?! All these humans ca just because of so stupid fight—but clearly they just wanted to take pictures of and bask in my royal presence!"
She tossed her hair dramatically, then narrowed her eyes at him.
"But you...You don’t like crowds, and you always avoid fights. So why are you here?!"
Then her tone shifted into a teasing grin,
"Wait...don’t tell ...you ca to see , didn’t you? You haven’t seen in a while, so you just had to see my adorable little face, right?"
"As if." Mika bluntly said.
Her grin faltered.
He continued dryly.
"Every ti I see you, you either bite , stab with your horns, or try to breathe fire at . So tell , why in the world would I want to see you?"
Nuri’s wings drooped instantly.
"Wha—what?! You didn’t co to see ?!" She asked in a genuinely hurt voice.
Mika sighed and pointed toward the tall, elegant dragon standing nearby.
"No. Your maid over there dragged here. Said you were causing trouble again and needed soone to stop you before the academy exploded."
"Ursula did what?!" Nuri yelled, spinning toward her attendant, who was bowing politely.
Ursula smiled calmly.
"Forgive , my lady, but I believed if I left you alone, the situation would...escalate."
"You have a tendency to make small problems significantly worse."
"I do not!" Nuri snapped.
Ursula tilted her head gently, "Then please explain the last four incidents this month that ended up with sothing burning down."
Nuri froze, opening her mouth, then closing it again.
"T-Those were training accidents!"
Ursula said dryly. "And that, my lady, is exactly why I called him. I knew only Mika could handle you."
Hearing this, Nuri puffed up her cheeks indignantly, wings flaring as she pointed a clawed finger at her maid.
"Stop treating like a child! I’m not so pet you can just control or order around, Ursula!"
"In fact—"
She turned toward Mika, fluttering closer until she hovered right above his head.
"—Mika is my pet!"
She declared proudly, resting her hand on his hair and ruffling it possessively.
"I’m the one who can control him. He listens to , obeys , and he’s mine. So don’t misunderstand our relationship."
The words made Mika’s brows twitch slightly. He sighed, tilting his head up.
"Pet...? Really, Nuri—"
But before he could finish, Nuri descended and wrapped her arms around his neck from behind, hugging him tightly and leaning her chin on his shoulder with a mischievous grin.
"See? Mine."
She said smugly, as if to emphasize her ownership, completely oblivious to the hundreds of students watching with their mouths hanging open.
And that’s when it happened.
A voice—cold, sharp, and filled with a killing intent that could freeze blood—cut through the air.
"Did you just say..."
Everyone froze.
"...that Mika was yours?"
