The Mana inside burst out of his body like a raging volcano, converting all of it into spatial energy once outside.
It was no spatial freezes.
Instead, he was directing all the spatial energy into a single point; it was a theoretical concept, but now he had to bring it into reality. Because if he didn’t, he would die.
The space ahead wavered, pulling tighter and tighter as if reality itself was being forced into the eye of a needle.
Despite the blinding light, he kept his unwavering eyes open; all of his around 2000 mana was finished in just a second. He quickly took out two potions and gulped them down, without caring about the consequences, while never stopping his spatial energy to try to break that singular point. The thick, bitter liquid burned down his throat, leaving a sharp tang of herbs and tal on his tongue.
The towering golaitth was about to reach in just a second, casting a shadow of Death which it cleared by the light of its judgnt. The sword cut through the clouds in a blinding arc, crack-crack-CRACK!, each crackle of lightning slamming into his ears like war drums. The air itself vibrated with a shrill, tallic hummmm, and the hair on his arms stood upright as if the world was recoiling from the sword’s descent.
Leon roared, Raaahhh! Working his body and mind to the limit. Another two thousand mana were spent, yet only the space a ter in front of him trembled, and nothing else.
Not enough... more, more!! Focus!!
He was feeling a painful sensation around his body, but his mind didn’t have any effect; it kept up.
Drinking two mana potions at the sa ti while spending them without stopping takes a toll on him, but he ignores the toll and continues.
His spatial pressure was the sa singular point in front of him.
But now the massive creature was just ters away from him; he could feel the enormous energy it had. Not a do made from Earth or a spatial freeze could stop this beast.
It needed sothing dangerous and destructive to match and neutralize the beast.
"SHATTERRR!!!" He shouted with defiance, pouring all 2000 mana in one go. His brain felt numb, and he gritted his teeth and held on.
All the Mana inside his body was entirely spent, yet despite that, his feet didn’t hit the ground, nor did he ever lose consciousness; his heart beat calmly, even in his situation, as if unbothered by everything around it.
The golaith edge of the blade crossed the point at which just less than a millisecond ago Leon poured his everything.
Instead of hopelessness, which should have been on his face, his mystical eyes were filled with defiance, his hand clenched to the limit.
His golden heart trembled as a vast amount of holy energy surged from his body, enveloping him and concentrating primarily in his right hand, where the thickest accumulation of divine energy was found.
Making the very air tremble around him, the world held its breath as Leon shouted.
"YOU WILL STOPPP!"
With full strength without holding anything back, he punched the colossal sword made of mysterious golden light. KRAA-THOOM! The impact drove cracks through the Earth beneath him, the ground CRRKKK caving slightly as if recoiling from the force. The impact sent a deafening crack through the air, the vibration racing up his arm while white-hot heat licked at his skin.
His figure looked like an ant in front of the giant sword.
The outco should have been obvious, as a human can’t deny the judgnt of heaven.
If there was sothing that Heaven didn’t want to happen, no one could change that outco. This sword was a hundred tis stronger than Leon was, proving all this.
It was a judgnt whose sole purpose was to fulfill its job, which was killing those who were trying to achieve sothing that Heaven didn’t want.
Trying to defy its very law.
Only Death awaits.
Leon’s hand, covered in concentrated holy energy, t the giant sword. For a mont, everything seed to pause.
BOOOOMMMM!!!!
Then the thunderous explosion happened, the sword halted and trembled for only a few seconds, and then it moved forward. Blood was gushing out of Leon’s hand like a fountain. The scent of scorched flesh mingled with the tallic tang of blood, choking the air around him.
His hands had been destroyed, yet they didn’t crumble, only cracked to the limit.
With the sa defiant look on his face, he punched the massive structure again with his other hand, and another clash of survival and judgnt happened.
The Result was that the Leons’ hands were rendered useless after the first clash.
The sword moved, ready to erase Leong from his existence altogether.
But it stopped only an inch away from his face.
His hand remained lifeless, but his face was full of vigor and defiance, and a smirk on it.
Only a single word left his mouth.
"Dissapper." His voice, cold and ruthless, sounded, and in the next second the sword crumbled in front of him, all its might disappeared by a force of nature which Leon succeeded in creating.
His figure blurred from its original position and appeared 100 ters away.
His bloody hand had already started to heal with the holy energy. Still, his eyes remained glued to the massive sword, which had just disappeared out of existence.
Only a black swirling mass of destruction remains on the place; despite its modest size, it devoured the judgnt from heaven like nothing. Vwoooommm... shhhhk! The ground around it warped and dipped, stones skidding inward before vanishing with a faint pop!
Finally, I have succeeded in creating the black hole I had desired to make for so long.
The way he had created in what situation was sothing he had never imagined, but he was proud of himself for not giving up until the last mont, as the previous two clashes between him and the sword caused it all to happen.
The black hole only lasted for a couple more seconds as space nded itself naturally.
But even those three seconds had caused it to make the ground beneath it be sucked and create a massive crater bigger than what was created by the previous confrontation between him and the heavens.
Leon, without wasting any ti, quickly bought 20 more Vials of Second Breath, the elixir, and Mana potions.
He drank one bottle of Vial and, along with a mana potion.
The wound on its hand nded itself with the power of the elixir, and its mana core filled to the brim with the mana potion.
The cloud in the sky had still not vanished away. It churned slowly like a wounded beast circling above, threads of gold flickering deep inside the grey mass.
Leon’s expression was much calr now, but they were still serious and unwilling, resolved not to die, filling every single cell of his body.
It lood above like a wounded predator, rumbling softly, the scent of wills still sharp in the air.
----
In a world that crossed the barrier of the universe.
Inside a mighty, grand throne room stretching far and wide, yet only emptiness and ancient silence filled it.
A single being sat on a throne, eyes closed for... who knows how long.
Centuries.
Millennia.
Or even more.
No one but the being itself knew the answer to that question.
His eyes fluttered open for the second ti since forgotten tis, and both had opened for the sa reason.
They opened leisurely, revealing a cross in the middle of his pupils, like glass shattered into a million pieces — ever-shifting and srizing.
His entire body reacted slightly, only for a millisecond.
"You are the first to withstand the Ninth strike of Heaven, yet this is but the beginning. The final blow shall end your futile struggle, mortal who dares defy the will of the Heavens."
