Chapter 131: You Traitors!
" Looks like their relationship took a turn for the worse."
" Judging by the Mister Roberts face, he must’ve really offended him."
" Could he be so noble in disguise."
" Even mister Gord looks strange today, is it that the entire seven swords adventurers party offended him."
" I’ve never heard of anyone fitting his description that’s strong enough to earn the seven swords apology."
The scene brought about growing murmurs within the inn’s patrons. With Su Ping’s hearing, he could easily pick up every single conversation.
Surprisingly, this was the first ti he had learned that the Old man’s group was actually known as the seven swords adventurers party and that the Old man’s na was Robert.
" Sir, here’s your receipt." Su Ping turned around and collected the piece of parchnt from the receptionist before nodding in thanks.
" It was nice seeing you senior." Su Ping said before leading his family upstairs in search of their assigned room.
" Arrgh! When’s that useless Old man going to co back! I’m tired of waiting in this wretched place." Esralda groaned while sitting on a bed in one of the inn’s rooms. The other mbers of the seven swords were stationed in the rooms right next to her’s.
The Old man had gone to secretly inform their employer that the young miss was safely brought into the city so they could pick her up.
After traveling for so long, Esralda couldn’t wait to be back ho. She wanted nothing more than to slump onto her lavish bed in her own bedroom instead of this sub pare cheap little inn.
’ Huh? Is he finally back.’ Esralda perked up when she picked up the sounds of footsteps coming from down the corridor.
" Took you long enough, Old man, so when are they coming–" Esralda rushed out of her room only to freeze when she saw the 4 walking through the corridor towards her.
She watched as the dark covered man whispered sothing to the woman next to him. The next mont the woman carried her children and hurried on ahead, passing the stunned Esralda and entering the room at the end of the hallway.
"....?!!" Esralda sensed that the dark covered figure down the hallway suddenly locked his sights on her. Her face paled when countless black slimy tentacles shot out from the shadows within the corridor, instantly wrapping around her.
" No! Let go of ! Let go of !" Esralda struggled to break free from the tentacles, her eyes glowed a bright erald green as bright green flas burst forth from her body yet her fear surged when they died out shortly after, at the sa ti she felt her magical power depleting rapidly.
" I said let go of !!" Esralda suddenly released a burst of green flas that pushed back the dark tentacles. Her eyes were trembling, tears pouring down her cheeks. She suddenly felt fear for the first ti in her life, She felt that the dark covered figure was actually aiming to kill her.
’ I have to escape!’
Esralda bolted down the corridor but a dark tentacles shot out like a bolt of lightning, wrapping around her ankle and pulling her back. Esralda fell face first, her nose bleed from the fall.
Her fear surged when she felt several other black tentacles slithering round her body like slimy snakes, binding her limbs and wrapping round her body. Esralda’s eyes glanced left and right in fear, hoping for anyone of the mbers of the escort group to rush out and save her yet, their room doors remained shot, the only sound she heard was the footsteps of the man down the hallway, getting closer and closer.
Esralda watched as the dark tentacles
ensnaring her began to rise and sway in the air like hungry serpents before slowing inching towards her.
" No–, don’t! Please don’t!!" Esralda scread in horror but the countless tentacles began burrowing into her body through all her orifices.
Tears stread down her eyes as the fat and slimy tentacle chocked in her throat, her breathing beca more and more painful as other tentacles also burrowed into her nose, her horror grew as little worm like tentacles slipped through her eyelids from inwards, slithering over her eyes.
In a matter of monts, Esralda’s despair reached its peak, her body was entirely infested with these grotesque appendages that even slid through her pores, so slithering through her veins while others wrapped around her organs.
" P-Please...stop."
" I’m sorry..."
" I’m sorry."
" I’m sorry."
Esralda’s incoherent voice pleaded over and over for rcy as the dark covered man ca closer and closer yet in the end, she watched as he passed her by before heading into a room at the end of the corridor, as well.
" Nooo!!! You can’t leave like this! Please!!! Save !!!" Esralda’s despair reached its peak, she scread and scread till her voice grew hoarse, her body eventually grew tired before she felt her eyelids growing heavy. Esralda who felt complete despair wanted nothing more than to lose her life, she quietly shut her eyes, hoping for death to finally take her.
" Huh?" Esralda’s body trembled when she found her surroundings had changed. The dark tentacles were gone, nowhere to be seen.
Esralda’s trembling finger’s reached towards her cheeks, her hand felt moist when she felt the fresh tears trailing down her cheeks.
" Y...oun..g...mi...ss"
" You...ng..mi..ss"
" Youn..g..miss"
" Young miss!"
" Young Miss!"
Esralda suddenly snapped out of her daze and realized that the mbers of the escort group were now surrounding her, their faces filled with worry.
" Young miss are you ok?! You’ve been dazed for quite so ti now." Old man Robert asked, he was the most worried out of them all, they couldn’t let anything happen to her now that the quest was almost finished.
’ So it was all a dream...no, that was so kind of nightmare...’ Traces of fear erged in her eye’s when she recalled that horrible nightmare she had found herself in.
" Did anyone of you see..." Esralda asked only for her voice to trail of at the end, She felt that it would be stupid to ask such a thing after all, they were dead, there was no way they could’ve survived that accident.
" Young miss, did you see soone familiar?"
" Could it be brother necromancer?" Gord suddenly said attracting not only Esralda’s gaze but the shocked looks of the other mbers of the seven swords.
" W-What are you trying to say?" Esralda’s hands unconsciously grabbed a hold of the man’s cloth, pulling him towards her, her trembling eyes caused Gord to feel frightened. Even the others were stunned by the Young miss’s sudden reaction.
" Is he actually alive?! Are you saying he’s alive?!" Esralda’s asked in a trembling voice. Her eyes unconsciously turned towards the room at the end of the corridor.
She shoved Gord away before rushing towards the room.
" Young miss wait!"
" Young miss, what are you doing?!" The escort group rushed after her. Fearing that sothing must’ve really happened to Esralda.
BAM!
" Bastard! So this is where your hiding!" Esralda kicked the door open before rushing into the room her body afla.
" What’s going on!"
"...." Esralda’s face froze when she saw a naked fat man and a middle aged woman both nude while seeking pleasure on the rooms bed.
" Young miss what’s gotten into you." The escort group got her out of the room.
" Please forgive us." So of them apologized to the frightened couple before offering so compensation to them and the inn staff that had rushed upstairs.
" You said you saw him?!" Esralda glared at Gord who shivered in fear when she exerted her magical pressure on him.
" Young miss please calm down, you also saw the necromancer as well."
" What do you an I saw him? You’re lying!"
" Are you I’ll now working together to go against because of that little accident?!" Esralda’s eyes glowed bright green, an erald fire ball converged in her hand frightening the adventurer’s.
" Lady Esralda." Esralda’s hand was suddenly grabbed by the Old adventurer who’s expression had finally turned unhappy. " I’d appreciate it if you didn’t harm my boy’s."
" Tsk!" Esralda tried budging her hand but the Old man’s grip was like a tal clamp that refused to let go, in the end she dispersed her attack, only then did the Old man let her go.
" Could you all please keep it down, they’re people trying to sleep. Don’t destroy the peace of the inn." An unhappy voice suddenly drew everyone’s attention.
" You!" Esralda’s expression turned fierce once more. " You bastard, so you were alive!"
" Pardon ?" Esralda suddenly felt the air around her turn heavy when Su Ping’s killing intent and magical pressure locked on her.
’ Is this pressure coming from that guy? Was he always this strong?’ Esralda’s train of thought was disorganized due to the unexpected surprise.
" Young necromancer, please control your temper." The Old man felt bitter seeing what was happening.
