Chapter 132: An Illness.

" Senior...." Su Ping said in a low tone. " As you can see, she hasn’t changed her ways, even after apologizing, she still wants to take our lives, what wrong have we done to her to deserve this."

" Apologize?! ?! Don’t spout lies, why would i apologize to you?! Old man, kill this lying bastard now!" Esralda glared at the Old man but all she received was a look of disbelief.

" But young miss, you did apologize." Esralda trembled when she heard the Adventurer’s all say the sa thing.

" Young miss...could you perhaps be having trouble rembering?" said the Old adventurer.

" Rembering what?! Why would I apologize to this bastard!" Esralda pointed her trembling finger at Su Ping.

" Senior Robert, could sothing have happened to the young miss?" Su Ping tilted his head a little, surprised. Su Pings action’s sent a shiver down Esralda’s spine.

" I’m not quite sure." The Old adventurer said, his voice filled with worry. " Young miss, are you perhaps stressed." The Old tried feeling her foreheads temperature with the back of his hand.

’ These bastards! Are they trying to say that I was just daydreaming!’

’ I’m not delusional!’

’ No! I refuse to accept this! They’re just trying to trick !’

" Don’t touch !" Esralda slapped Roberts hand away, looking agitated.

" You’re all trying to deceive ! I know what I saw!" Esralda said before turning her gaze towards Su Ping. " You... Stop trying to hide it, I know you have them!"

" Have what?" Su Ping asked, his voice sounding even more confused.

" I know you have them, stop hiding those disgusting slimy tentacles! Your not going to fool twice!" Esralda’s agitated voice caused the adventurers to worry.

" Is this what you an."

" Hahaha yes! I knew they were....real?" Esralda’s excited voice trailed off when she realized the things next to Su Ping looked more like roughly compressed masses of darkness in forms of tendrils instead of the repulsive slimy tentacles.

" Little miss, please lower your voice..." Su Ping said, his tone sounding disgruntled as he walked over to them. " We’re still in an inn, I’m not sure whether you were properly trained at ho or not, but when your in a catering establishnt you must do well to act accordingly.

" Bastard! How dare you insult !" Esralda continued to glare at him yet she felt worried the closer he got, as if she could hear every step he took echoing through the halls. The sound of his step seed to encompass every other sound in the corridor, before Esralda noticed, her mories which she sought to keep buried, couldn’t help but resurface again.

Her eyes widened in horror when she saw countless slimy regaling tentacles stretching out from Su Ping’s form for a brief mont.

" Stay back! Don’t co near ." Esralda scread while unconsciously taking several steps back. But in the end, her legs failed her and she tripped.

"...?" Esralda’s eyes were filled with confusion when Su Pings arms wrapped around her waist, stopping her mid fall. She unconsciously raised her head to peak underneath his straw hat but all she saw was a mass of darkness blocking off her sight.

" Senior Robert, your conjecture was right, she really does seem to have a fever." Su Pings voice suddenly snapped Esralda out of her thoughts.

" W-What are you doing." Esralda beca frightened when Su Ping suddenly lifted her into his arms in a princess carry.

" Stop squirming or you’ll fall." Esralda turned silent when she heard Su Ping scold her, strangely, she felt a compelling felling all of a sudden that made her relax a little.

" Senior, you ntioned sothing about your mission coming to an end right?" Su Ping said. Robert and the other seven swords were still trying to take in the fact that Su Ping had actually cald the young miss down, since he had already done it once, wouldn’t this be the second ti?

" Yes..., that’s correct." The Old man said yet Su Ping still noticed the uneasy look on his face.

" They aren’t going to make it here quickly?" The Old man nodded at Su Pings words, the Montgory household was trying their utmost best to make sure no one knew of the heiress’s return until she was safely within their custody, which ant they couldn’t speed through the city without regard.

The Old man was inford that they would co later today but he was worried that the young misses "illness" might get worse by then. They couldn’t take her to a temple in the city because that would expose her whereabouts.

Finding a healer as well would be troubleso because if the young miss was really Ill, they would need to find soone with purification magic to heal her, simple healing magic was used for healing injuries not diseases or sicknesses.

Purification magic on the other hand was a far superior form of healing magic that could heal sickness and the like. The church naturally horded all those with this type of magic, so looking for one out here would naturally be hard for the Old man.

" Why not let my wife treat her." Su Pings suggestion drew the attention of the seven swords party.

" Your wife?" The Old man looked skeptical. " Young necromancer, your wife can use purification magic?" Su Ping nodded.

linda actually did know purification magic, which was sothing he found out back at the village when she had tried to heal him.

At the ti, Su Ping was actually worried because her magic was dispersing his dark magic back then, fortunately she didn’t have much magical power, otherwise she would’ve been the death of him back then.

" She’s not powerful but her help should subside the little miss’s fever until your mission cos to an end." The adventurers turned relived after hearing his words, now they wouldn’t have to worry too much.

Su Ping gave Esralda to the Old man but the Old man didn’t dare to touch her when she glared at him. Su Ping had to drop her on her feet.

" The last thing I want is to blad for her illness. Since she beca this agitated because of , I’ll help you heal her, but afterwards..." Su Ping said in a carefree manner yet his voice took a dark turn at the end.

" I better not hear her ntion or my family again." Su Ping said coldly, in that mont, the adventurers felt as if the room temperature had dropped several degrees. Su Ping then turned his head before walking down the corridor, into a room near the stair case.

Esralda watched him go in silence not knowing what just happened or how she should react, instead the only thoughts that plagued her mind was how she felt secure in his arms, the strange warmth of his body that had soothed her frightened self.

The Adventurer’s waited Infront of Esralda’s room as ti went by, at one point, they felt like Su Ping wasn’t coming back or that his wife would refuse to help the young miss.

After what Esralda had done to them, they didn’t think it would be impossible for her to refuse but, They all sighed with relief when they saw Su Ping and linda finally coming over.

At the sa ti, a terrifying Death Knight stalked out of the room, it’s body crouching down to pass through the door, it then closed the door and stood guard outside.

The adventurer’s were alard by the sight, thinking to themselves that the necromancer was really formidable since he summoned such a powerful undead to act as a doorman, The Old man on the other hand had a solemn expression.

’ It’s faint but there’s no mistaking it...’

Unlike the others, his senses were far greater. While they were astounded by the Death Knight Infront of the door, the Old man felt the auras of 4 more powerful undead from within the room.

He concluded that Su Ping must’ve had the undead mask their auras to avoid causing a disturbance within the inn.

" Thank you my dear, you have no idea how grateful this Old man is." Robert approached linda with a look of gratitude.

" Please, there’s no need for senior to be so humble." linda smiled as she clasped her hands around his. " So long as I’m able to be of aid to my husband, I’m willing to help."

" Hahaha, Young man, you’re really lucky."

" Brother I must say I’m envious, Sister really is a living treasure." The seven swords flattered linda and Su Ping with words of praise but Su Ping remained silent.

" Hehehe I don’t think we should dally any longer, please...please co in."

The Old man felt that the atmosphere was taking an awkward turn so he simply led them inside.

Esralda who was lounging on the bed suddenly sat up straight when she saw them walk in. Her gaze first lingered on Su Ping, her mind filled with different emotions yet when they landed on linda, a scowl erged on her face.
