Chapter 133: And who said a necromancer couldn’t heal a patient.

" What’s she doing here." Esralda’s sudden tone made the Old man worried. When he felt an unhappy air coming from Su Pings direction, his expression turned even more distressed.

" Young miss, please stop joking. The necromancers wife is here to help alleviate your illness. We’ve already discussed this." said the Old man in a pleading tone.

Esralda turned silent, her brows furrowed. Seeing this, the Old man gestured for linda to go ahead with his gaze. linda walked up to her bed, sitting at the edge of the bed beside Esralda.

" You really are coming down with a fever." linda frowned when she used the back of her hand to touch Esralda’s forward.

" Tsk, isn’t that obvious." Esralda scoffed, clearly unimpressed. " Even if you can use purification magic, I don’t see how a Lvl 1 like you could ever hope to help ."

" Young miss... please don’t be rude to the necromancers wife." said the Old man.

" It’s ok, Senior, I’m sure she ant no harm. I am a Lvl 1 after all." linda said with a smile.

The Old man nodded before glancing at one of the adventurers who retrieved a few Mid grade mana stones from his spatial ring. linda stared at the mana stones in surprise.

" Even if you are a Lvl 1, these should help refill your strength."

" Senior, please take them back." Su Ping said before approaching linda, he stood behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder. " I have no intentions of owing anyone of you after this. My wife shall receive all the support she needs from ."

[Touch of Darkness]

[Wood Affinity]

linda was montarily startled when she felt Su Ping’s wood magic flowing into her body like a gentle stream. Her magical power suddenly began to surge, from Lvl 1 common tier to..

Lvl 1 Elite tier...

Lvl 1 Rare tier...

Stopping at Lvl 2 common tier. Su Ping could boost her strength even more but he was worried that linda’s body would be damaged if he induced a higher flow of magical power into her.

" Thank you darling." linda flashed her husband an affectionate smile. Su Ping nodded, if the others could peak through his veil, they would see a warm smile etched on his draconian lips.

Esralda simply stared at the warm exchange between the two in silence. The Adventurer’s on the other hand were amazed by Su Ping’s versitile ability. They’d heard of people capable of increasing one’s strength, even if it was only temporary, such a thing was beyond rare.

A warm glow enveloped Esralda as linda began to use her magic on her. The Adventurer’s could only watch in silent, hoping for the young miss’s situation to improve for the better. Like that, a few hours suddenly went by.

" Is the treatnt done." The Old man asked eagerly when linda suddenly retracted her hand from Esralda, the glow receding.

" You can check on her yourself." linda said with a smile. The Old man beca elated and hurried over but stopped in his tracks when Esralda shot him a cold glare.

" Hehehe, Young necromancer. Could you please do this Old man one last favour and check on the young miss’s condition." The Old man turned towards Su Ping, hoping he would offer his aid once more.

"....."

Su Ping let out an impatient groan before leaning towards Esralda who sat up straight on the bed. This ti Esralda only scoffed yet she didn’t stop Su Ping.

" Yes... Her fever has diminished greatly, she should be fine after so rest." Su Pings words set the Old man’s heart at ease.

" Since there’s nothing else, We’ll be leaving now." Su Ping said.

" It was a pleasure eting you again senior." linda said her goodbyes.

" Young necromancer, why not let us treat you to a al or sothing." The Old man felt that it would be a sha to let them leave like this after what they’d done. The least he could do was try to ease things between them but.

" I’m afraid we’ll decline. I hope your mission ends up being a success." Su Ping politely declined their offer before glancing at Esralda who’s gaze was already trained on him. " I hope you get ho safely." Su Ping said before walking out with linda and closing the door.

So inn patrons were all in the corridor, eyeing the Death Knight with a wary gaze. Those down the corridor were too scared to walk past it while those from within the corridor didn’t dare to get too close to it as well.

" Excuse us." Su Ping held his wife closely while making his way through.

" Hey watch were your going, can’t you see that monster in the way, are you asking for a death wish." One of the people he shifted aside turned to glare at him.

" Honey, maybe next ti we shouldn’t leave him outside. Next ti, why not leave him inside."

" There’s no reason for you to worry about sothing like this. If they wish to be restrained by their fear, then let them."

Su Ping didn’t say anything, instead he approached the undead, the onlookers thought the dark clothed man was seeking death yet the Undead suddenly opened the door to the room for him before stepping aside.

linda entered with Su Ping following after, then the Death Knight entered the room as well before closing it.

The scene shocked everyone present. The man who had spoken up earlier couldn’t help but perspire, thinking to himself that he had unknowingly offended soone he shouldn’t.

" Mommy! Daddy! Your back." l and Sal leaped into their mother’s arms the mont they walked in.

Su Ping smiled at the scene, his eyes filled with warmth. " You did a good job sweetheart." Su Ping said.

" Thanks darling but you did most of the work. I was worried she would be more of a hassle but fortunately things turned out for the better." linda sighed helplessly.

" Alright then. I’ll leave you with the kids while I head out for a mont, I’ll be back soon." Su Ping walked over before crouching down, patting l and Sal. " You two be good to your mom while daddy’s out, ok."

" Ok daddy." l nodded.

" Daddy can you buy us so snacks when you get back." said Sal.

" Sure thing." Su Ping said before heading towards the door.

" Ok honey, please co back quickly." linda smiled at him as he left.

The people in the corridor who were stunned earlier, retreated so distance when Su Ping walked out.

" Sir, please don’t be offended, earlier I didn’t know that you were–" The man who had spoken up to Su Ping and linda, earlier, rushed over, looking panicked and worried. He had already pieced together that Su Ping must’ve been a necromancer from the Death Knight, and by simply seeing the Lvl 3 undead, the man knew that he must be a very powerful one at that.

He believed that he couldn’t let such a matter end like that, who knew if the necromancer was one to hold grudges. In cities like this, death was usually frowned upon but when it involved two figures from different worlds, the city managent would usually turn a blind eye to it. The man didn’t want to end up as one of those missing people who’s corpse would be found in the forest sowhere.

" Do you know your way around this part of the city?" Su Ping cut the man off before he could finish his sentence.

" Y-Yes Sir, You can call Jerry, if there’s soone your looking for, I can help you find them to." Jerry’s heart was elated that the necromancer was actually giving him an opportunity to redeem himself.

" S-Sir! This is." Jerry trembled in shock when Su Ping threw a mid grade mana stone into his hands.

" Since your knowledgeable, co with ." Su Ping didn’t say anything else, he headed downstairs. Jerry was still absorbing the shock when he instantly hurried after Su Ping.

With Jerry’s help, Su Ping quickly found what he was looking for.

" Good day, is there sothing I can help you with." A young girl working in a small shop sprang to her feet when she heard the chi of the bell by the door but, she froze when she saw the large figure covered in dark clothing make his way in with another behind him.

" Little one, are you the owner of this shop?" Su Ping said.

" N-No that would be my mother." The girl stuttered in fear, she had never seen such a strangely dressed man before. Moreover she couldn’t help but feel so fear when staring at such a person.

" I see, could you please get your mother for us. We’d like to discuss so important matters with her."

" Ok sir, please wait just a mont." Anna who looked no older than 15, stared skeptically at the two n for a brief mont before nodding and heading inside.
