As he thrust his sword, his hands were suddenly suspended in midair. Shocked, he looked back, wondering who had grabbed him.
Silva gave him a smile and then pushed his hand away. "Beating up elders, that's really bad. I guess so things remain the sa everywhere in the universe," Silva said.
The man looked at him, confusion in his eyes. Who the hell was this man, and why was he interfering?
"Who the hell are you? Do you want to die?" he asked in anger.
"Let go of the man and walk off. I already really hate your guild, so don't make it worse," Silva said.
said, you think you can just interfere and tell what to do? I'll make sure I cut your head off!" he roared in anger and attacked. Silva took a step back and dodged the sword before kicking him in the chest, sending him flying.
His brothers caught him; anger lit in their eyes as well. They all pulled out their swords. "We'll make you pay!" one yelled and rushed, but Silva didn't move. Drake did: he raised his hand and spines made of blood ford in the air above him and fired down, penetrating their robes and stabbing into their chests.
"Arghhhhh!" Their cries of pain sounded like swine. Silva looked at them with pure disdain in his eyes.
The man looked at the four n on the floor; he was shocked.
"You just took down mbers of the Black Sword Guild; this will be an issue for you," he said, genuinely worried for Silva.
"Don't worry about that. I'm already on bad terms with them," Silva said. "Take care, we'll be leaving," Silva added.
"Wait, you helped . There is no way I can allow you to leave without showing my appreciation. Co to my inn; I'll make my special soup for you," the man said.
Silva wanted to refuse, but he decided not to. "Thank you."
The man led them inside his inn; there were a few people inside eating and drinking. He gave them a table and rushed inside. A few minutes later he returned with a tray of food and placed it on the table.
Then the man pulled a chair and sat beside them. "Thank you, really, for saving . It would have been a real issue if not for you," he said.
"It's nothing. We already ran into that guild when we arrived on this planet," Silva said.
"Hmm, you are new to the planet, I see. What brings you here?" he asked.
'Well, aside from the fact that I'm being chased by a primordial being and his massive army of weeping angels, nothing much.'
"I'm heading to the Arcane Council to register. I don't really know anywhere here or what to do, no money, no anything, so I want to register and then make so money," Silva said.
"I see. You have to be cautious. On this world, ignorance is dangerous; it's a lawless world, to be honest, and they'll try to take what you have away from you at the slightest chance.
I can tell that you are pretty strong, but you must forget everything that you knew before you ca here, because here there are different laws," the man said.
"I see. I have a question: what do you know about legacies?" Silva asked.
"Legacies, the things given by gods and beings above. Everyone wants a powerful legacy; not many can have it. It's very important, and lots of people fight for the chance to have a good legacy.
So might have had one when they were in their ho world, only to leave and then realize that their legacy was weak and useless here.
Before you run off seeking power, get as many legacies as you can, the stronger the better, because the distance you'll go is tied to your legacy," the man explained.
"I see. So what exactly are the thods that people use to get legacies?" Silva asked.
"They seek it out, looking for gods and ancient ruins; it can be found in many places. Or it can be stolen from the heart of soone who already has one.
There are people who have killed others and taken their legacy," the man said.
"I see. Well, thank you for the information," Silva said.
"Hmm, it's not an issue. You are free to stay in the inn for a while until you get yourself afloat. I see a kid with you, and I believe you won't be able to go to the council with her," the man said.
Silva was surprised that the man would do that without asking for anything in return. He took out one of the abyssal swords from one of his alternate forms and handed it to him.
"I do not know the worth of this, but it was one of the strongest weapons on my world," he said.
The man looked at the sword and his eyes widened. He touched it and then took it from Silva. "This is amazing. I can tell it was crafted from the soul of a powerful being, a god, maybe," he said. He then looked up. "Are you sure that you want to give sothing like this to ? My rooms are definitely not worth such a blade," he added.
"You helped us when no one did, and you gave information, so yes, I'm going to give it to you. Also, in hopes that you and I will be on good terms, it's wise to have allies, especially in places where you are new," Silva said.
"Well said. I'll treasure this. Please eat up; I'll prepare rooms for you," the man said and left.
"Master, was it wise to hand him that sword?" Drake asked.
"That sword belonged to one of your alternates, Silva," Lily said.
"You should have given him sothing else," Dawn said.
"Don't worry about it. It's a relic to keep; after all, I have the real blade."
"Indeed, master," the Abyssal Blade replied.
