The door opened. Killian looked back at the door instantly.

There was a shift of mana around his vicinity. He stepped back quickly, dragging Lu with him.

Three figures stepped out of the door, dressed in black western traditional attire that covered their entire bodies.

Only their eyes were visible and those were locked on Killian. He turned to Lu for confirmation, and the boy shook in his boots as he pointed at the guests with trembling hands.

"Outcasts…?"

That was all the confirmation that Killian needed. He sprinted backwards with Lu, but an outcast appeared in front of them as if by teleportation.

"You are Him, aren't you?" The outcast asked.

Killian's eyes swept the vicinity in a second. "I don't know what you are talking about."

Yet he had a bad feeling about that question. The last ti he was asked that question, he was at the verge of death and newly evolved.

After looking around the surroundings, sothing dreadful settled into his mind. The dread spread into his stomach, making him small. "This is a… Realmcraft."

"You are quite perceptive," the outcast in front of him said, imdiately confirming his fear. "Now, I understand why it was hard for our junior to kidnap you last ti."

A frown settled on Killian's forehead as he moved away from her. He looked around for an escape route, but there was usually none waiting around within a Realmcraft.

"How could you just waltz into the academy? Do you think if you win, you'll be let go?"

She clicked her tongue, stepping forward.

"We were hired by angels to bring you. You are an enemy of the angels. Do you think you're a friend to the academy that they'll try to protect you?"

Those words landed as a heavy blow at Killian's side. He stood still, staring at nothing on the ground. The lady stopped moving as well.

"You should know this by now. The only reason the angel who sent us hasn't told the academy is because they have secret plans. So just co alone with us."

"No!" Lu yelled, pulling Killian away.

Killian let himself be pulled back. He raised his gaze at the lady standing confidently. 'The mont I stepped into their Realmcraft. The fight is almost over.'

It had taken him a long ti to break free from an amateur Realmcraft, but this one wasn't created by a novice.

The only way was to kill them, while hoping there was nothing in their domain that could kill him.

He snapped from his thoughts and looked around. Everything was almost the sa with the school's building that he rembered.

Another thought that settled into his mind was the realization that the academy might be in with whatever the outcasts purpose would be.

For the outcast to have made two consecutive attacks on him, it couldn't be a re coincidence.

There had to be a chance that they were already outcasts in the academy, waiting for orders to be given.

They must've been accepted by the Academy as part of so refuge or joined with a program that can integrate them back to society.

Perhaps, in the sa way a Forbidden Elent User worked as their Coordinator. So the outcast would be mostly right about the academy not going to care about him.

"Let the boy go then," Killian spoke up.

The outcast narrowed their eyes at Killian, and drew their mask down. A smirk was on her face.

Killian let go of Lu so the boy could find his own way. He stared back at the lady, whose weapons just dropped in her hands.

The other outcasts pulled down their masks, they were n with scar-ridden faces. Their weapons fell into their hands as well. Jagged swords that promised a painful death.

Killian watched this quietly.

'They have access to spatial storages? Soone is funding them. Perhaps, my theory that the academy sponsors them might not be far fetched.'

Yet if they needed a Realmcraft to trap him, then it ant they wanted to do it quietly without any outside interference.

'I just need to get Lu out.'

Lu didn't move a step away from Killian. His eyes glanced at the door quickly, before he jumped forward. "What are you saying? What are they saying? What are all of you saying—"

"Just fine a way to get out first." Killian cut him off.

It would be easier for him to use the Void when he didn't worry a Light User would find out about it. Also, Lu only shook in his boots. He wasn't much help.

"No." Lu's voice stabilized. "Calix."

"What—" The words didn't leave Killian completely before light began to gather in the air.

It shone brightly and then pulled as a small fairy rose in the air fluttering across the air, and perching on Lu's shoulder.

A constant light shone from the fairy that it hid her features.. The outcast jumped back to her partners, and they readied themselves for an attack.

Killian stepped away from Lu and the fairy, feeling his lower abdon churn. 'This guy doesn't get it. Any attack he makes affects too."'

"Don't worry, Killian. Stay back!" Lu yelled in front of him. "I can't get us out of this place. But!"

He inhaled deeply. ""

A bright light spark above them, blinding the nearest two ters from where they stood. The outcasts fell imdiately, their brains temporarily stunned.

Killian fell to his knees, holding his eyes. "Arghh!" But his arms were pulled and he forced himself to his feet.

Lu rushed towards the doors, running past the hallway to Crimson Tiger. "Killian, are you okay! That shouldn't affected you too!"

Killian slowed down, holding his eyes that lost their vision. He held the wall to help him balance, but crashed upon the next door.

"Just go," Killian told Lu, as he heard footsteps following them. The boy tried pulling him up again.

"Just fucking go!" Killian pushed the boy through the door and slamd it close. He didn't hear the boy's steps anymore confirming the realm released Lu.

"Okay, breathe. Breathe." He muttered, rubbing his eyes. He still saw nothing but white light no matter how much he rubbed it.

'Fuck. He blinded .'
