Just as Jeremy finished reading a few more articles, he heard footsteps near the door. He then turned towards the door.
Daniel Stone, Instructor Jacob, and Betsy Lowe all ca together.
Jeremy's eyes flickered. He saw them talking and laughing.
Jacob and the others noticed Jeremy had already arrived before them.
"Brother Jeremy, did you hear the news?"
"Roo Barrett has taken a few weeks off," Daniel Stone said with a smile.
Hearing that, Jeremy was stunned.
"Few days off?"
"For what? The defeat?" Jeremy asked.
"Yes, that seems to be the case," Instructor Jacob added.
Jeremy frowned. It's just a friendly spar. He didn't expect the defeat to have an impact on Roo Barrett.
Daniel Stone sat in his seat. Instructor Jacob took his seat behind the desk as well.
But Betsy Lowe noticed the confusion on Jeremy Night's face.
"You are wondering why?" Betsy asked.
Jeremy nodded to her.
"It's because of the senior students' pressure. Word is that so senior students wanted to talk to him."
"But Roo knew about it, so he left early," she said in a calm tone.
Jeremy frowned deeper.
"Fortunately, we don't have those senior student problems," Daniel Stone said from the side.
Jeremy was dissatisfied inside. Normally, it's the job of the instructors to deal with such situations.
But apart from their teaching jobs, they didn't seem to care about other things.
Then Jeremy turned towards Instructor Jacob.
He asked, "Instructor, is there any news about the S-Graders?"
"I know that one of them is training. The other one is attending her class. They both said earlier they would challenge you."
"But we don't know when," Jacob said in a solemn tone.
"If that's the case, I wanted to bring Daniel and Betsy to the wilderness to do a mission," Jeremy revealed his plan.
"Mission?"
Both Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe exclaid.
Even Jacob showed a bewildered expression. He knew that Jeremy Night was stronger, and Betsy and Daniel might drag him down.
Jeremy nodded his head before saying, "If no one is challenging today, then I'm planning on doing a mission."
Jacob nodded his head in understanding. He could see that Jeremy didn't want to waste any ti.
"You can take them along with you. Even if soone issues a challenge, the duel will be held tomorrow," Jacob said.
"Brother, what kind of mission are you planning?" Daniel Stone asked.
He could only kill Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts after a huge effort, so he was afraid he might be a hindrance.
"It's going to be a simple mission. I'm taking you so you guys can gain experience. If soone bothers you next ti, you can defend yourselves," Jeremy said to them.
"Good, I'm ready to go," Betsy Lowe said after so thought. She wanted to get better as well.
Jeremy left with the two of them.
Soon, they reached the mission hall building. The trio was quite famous. Their appearance imdiately attracted attention.
Jeremy and the others walked into the building. They quickly walked up to the counter to check the available missions on the screen.
Jeremy let Daniel and Betsy select the mission. He just wanted them to gain experience. He was not going to take them into the deeper parts of the wilderness.
It didn't take long for the two of them to select the mission.

Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone both agreed on the mission. With their Tier-1 Beast Taming Power, they could defeat the Rat Beasts.
Then they showed it to Jeremy as well. When Jeremy began to go through the mission details, he was taken aback a little.
He didn't expect City A to be troubled by this situation as well. If the Tier-2 Rat Beasts appeared back at ho, then it would create huge havoc.
But the problem here seed to be significant. Then he agreed to the mission as well.

They left Central University 14. It didn't take long for them to reach the City Gate, where they started to inquire about the Rat Beasts.
The City Guards had known about this problem before, so they shared the details of where they had encountered the Rat Beasts earlier.
Jeremy viewed the details. He thought the marked areas were outside the City Gate. But surprisingly, the City Workers had encountered the Rat Beasts inside the City.
Fortunately, they were just Tier-1 and Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts. The locals here were at least Tier-1 and Tier-2 Beast Tars.
They could handle these beasts. But if they were left alone, their numbers might cause real problems.
"Okay, we can start searching for them from known places," Jeremy said to them.
The mission requirent was to kill only 10 Tier-2 Rat Beasts. He thought the City Administration had deliberately not cleared out the lair.
They might want to train new beast tars with this mission.
Then the three of them walked on foot. The marked places were close to the city gate. So were located in old underground sewage.
Jeremy couldn't help but raise his eyebrows. He thought that the old underground sewage places were the right location to check.
About 20 minutes later,
Jeremy Night, Betsy Lowe, and Daniel Stone arrived at the old residential area. The buildings here were decades old.
While they were investigating, Jeremy found out that only a few families were living here. Because the renovations were pending, many families had shifted to new places.
"Wow, this place is creepy. Many run-down structures are here. It's a good place for the corrupted beasts to live," Betsy Lowe said in a solemn tone.
Daniel Stone showed a serious expression as well.
They were both confident, but this place didn't seem to hide just rat beasts but other Corrupted Beasts as well.
Jeremy saw the hesitation in their faces.
"Don't worry. I'm here. Even if it's a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast, I can kill it," Jeremy assured them.
Both of their expressions eased a lot upon hearing that.
