About 20 minutes later,
All the Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts were killed. Most of them were slayed by Jeremy in record ti. The Guards are in total disbelief. Captain Morris was especially shocked to the core.
"When did the young master beco this strong?"Morris asked himself.
He witnessed how the young master used a katana to cut off the Beast's head like a waterlon. It was all done in a single move. He has decided to report it to the Head later.
Jeremy, on the other hand, makes sure that no other monsters are lurking nearby. He still thinks that another Beast is guiding all these Tier-2 Beasts.
His eyes flash with a glint. If he doesn't eliminate the root cause, the problem will appear later. He is not sure whether he will be in the city when it happens next ti.
Probably he could be in Central University 14 at that ti. Jeremy made a difficult decision at this mont. He has decided to explore further and find the root cause.
If there is a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast behind it. He wants to eliminate it.
"Captain Morris, you guys start patrolling here. I'm going to find the beast's lair," I said to Morris.
"Young Master, it's dangerous!"
Morris imdiately rejected it. He has a more important job to protect the young master. Since the imdiate threat was resolved. He doesn't think it's necessary to take risks further.
"Captain, you are underestimating . If there is any real danger, I won't forge ahead," Jeremy said.
Then he started leaving the place without looking back. The Guards were scared by the Young Master's decision.
"Captain, what should we do?"
"It's best to tell the City Governor," The Guards voiced their opinion.
"You guys should listen to the young master. He has beco stronger after the ceremony. So no Tier-3 Beast can pose a threat to him," Captain replied. He is convincing himself.
A few minutes later,
Jeremy followed the foot trails to go beyond the western lake. There is a small green forest with a few hilltops behind the western lake.
It's a good place for the beasts to hide. It's one of the hunting points of the rcenary Teams. Seeing that foot trails leading inside.
Jeremy thinks that the Black wolves are living inside this place. He then went deep inside the green forest. While walking through bushes. He suddenly felt sothing coming towards him.
He then moves backwards to open space. Jeremy drew his katana forward. He doesn't know what is coming.
Shortly afterwards,
His senses alard him with danger. Jeremy didn't wait further. He imdiately used the starlight energy again. He covered the katana blade with starlight.
Swoosh!
A Gigantic Beast over 20 feet tall walks out of the bush. It's none other than Tier-3 Corrupted Beast, the Black Wolf with razor-sharp teeth and claws.
This wolf has blood-red eyes. It's showing a fierce expression as it slls the blood of the slayed wolves from the human.
Jeremy beca unusually calm after seeing the Tier-3 Corrupted Beast coming out of the bushes. He now knows where the foul sll cos from.
His senses were heightened. He is keeping an eye on Wolf's movents. The Black wolf noticed that the human was not moving.
But the wolves' blood sll enraged it. The Tier-3 Beast took over by the bloodthirsty instincts. Right now, it wants to hunt and kill.
Swoosh!
The beast moves. Its body flashes in a blur before appearing before the human. Then it slashes the human with a right claw.
Jeremy tightly grips the katana before swinging to block the attack. In a flash, the katana blade filled with starlight cos in contact with tallic claws.
Boom!
The blade manages to block the claws. But the starlight energy combusts all of a sudden. An explosion occurs. The Black Wolf retreats backwards.
Its right paw is injured. Blood can be seen dropping from the front claw. The Tier-3 Beast howled in pain. It's anger didn't subside. Rather, it beca angrier.
Jeremy's eyes flash with a glint. He can judge the strength of Tier-3 Corrupted Beast sohow. It's his first Tier-3 Beast opponent.
Jeremy doesn't want to let go of this opportunity. As long as he can slay it, the western settlent can get peace for so ti.
Swoosh!
The Black Wolf moves again. This ti it wanted to target the back of the human. So that it can avoid the blades coming at it.
On the other hand, Jeremy manages to see the movent of the beast. Seeing that beast is trying to go beyond his back. He successfully retreated backwards to foil the plan.
Forcing the black wolf to confront directly. The Black wolf used its ability to increase the speed. It's going to land a barrage of claw attacks.
Jeremy has studied the wolf beast attack pattern in his class. So he is going to target the vital points to kill the monster.
He channelled the starlight energy into the katana blade again.
Swoosh!
The wolf appears in a flash before him. Thanks to his Supre Combat Body talent. His senses were sharp. He imdiately sidestepped from the spot to avoid the frontal claw attacks.
Boom!
The wolf claws struck the empty spot, causing noise.
Jeremy then sprints forward while drawing his katana in a perfect arc. The starlight-imbued katana pierces into the side body with no effort.
Pfff!
Blood pours out. As the katana made a deep horizontal cut. The starlight energy pulverised the Tier-3 Defense of Tier-3 Corrupted Beast.
Howls!
The Black wolf howled in pain.
Jeremy's confidence shot the sky roof. He trusted his skills and starlight energy. Now it's coming to fruition. He decides and a few more deceive strikes.
This ti, Jeremy took the initiative. He charged towards the Beast and drew the katana targeting the injured spot. The Black Wolf realises that threat.
The deep injury in the body has reduced its strength. But the Corrupted Beast was different from the regular beast. It's completely taken over by the instinct to attack the prey.
Unless there is a Tier-4 Beast or above. The Tier-3 Beasts won't feel any fear.
