Dilapidated Building Area:
Jacob Henry was cooperating with the beast tars from the City administration. It's been so ti since so of them entered the underground passage, but there had been no news so far.
A few others were waiting outside with him.
"The rat beasts had been coming out of the underground passage. The locals don't have a clue about it."
"I wonder if there is a rat beast lair hidden at the end of the passage."
"Even if there is a rat beast lair, it will be cleared out by our leader."
The Beast Tars were discussing in a low tone.
Jacob revealed a smile on his face. Jeremy Night had gone there to explore. He was just a Tier-1 Beast Tar, but these people were Tier-4 Beast Tars.
Yet they were so worried about the rat beast lair.
Their leader was a middle-aged man nad Scott, who is a Tier-5 Beast Tar. He was specifically dispatched after it was known that a Tier-4 Rat Beast had appeared last night.
When it cos to facing this type of situation, he thinks Jeremy Night did his best compared to the City administration people.

Inside the underground passage, the team led by Scott reached the end of the passage. They saw the rat beast corpses, ranging from Tier-2 to Tier-3, scattered across the place.
"I heard an Elder from the Central University has entered the passage to learn the truth. Looks like he has dealt with all these beasts," Scott said to himself.
Behind him were six Tier-4 Beast Tars following him. This type of team was simply overkill for rat-type corrupted beasts.
But the City administration didn't want to take any chances. They had been caught off guard by the Tier-4 Rat Beast last night.
"Hmmm, there is a light coming from above," Scott said, looking at the hole above the passage. It's the way to the surface.
The Beast Tars behind him were ready as well.
"Be careful; the corrupted beasts could ambush us," Scott warned them.
He then proceeded further, just as the investigation team reached the spot.
Tremor!
The underground passage began to shake. The faces of everyone changed drastically. Scott was the first one to realize what was going on.
"Run!" he shouted.
In the next second, everyone used their strength to flee back. The underground passage continued to shake.
The tremors were causing the underground passage to collapse. As they fled, brown rocks fell to the ground.
They were Tier-4 Beast Tars and their leader was a Tier-5 Beast Tar. This falling of rocks wouldn't be able to hurt them.
On the other hand, the warehouse site and other places were blown apart. The result of the explosion caused the underground passage to collapse.
The Goldcorp shareholder Rick had ordered the explosion. He wanted his own secret base destroyed.
This place was actually located inside the project area of the Goldcorp Organization. The place was restricted.
Rick did not do this without a plan. A construction project was ongoing; the old high-rise buildings were being demolished by the workers.
Rick used this opportunity to destroy his base as well. Even if soone inquired, they could only bla it on the bad timing of the construction project.
About a few minutes later,
Scott and his team erged from the underground passage with tattered clothes and bruises on their faces.
"Go and follow the passage route. Forcibly evict the people living above the underground passage," Scott ordered.
Hearing that, the team mbers nodded their heads and left the place.
"You guys follow them as well," Scott said to the Beast Tars waiting outside for them.
Hearing that, they didn't know what was going on, but they understood that the matter was serious. So they left the place as well.
Only Jacob Henry was left with a dumbfounded look.
Scott ignored him and contacted the City Administration. He then reported about the underground passage tremors.
It would be a matter of ti before the whole underground passage collapsed.
It would cause a lot more casualties than the rat beasts' attack.
Jacob, not far away, overheard the conversation. He was shocked to the core.
"What?"
"The passage is going to collapse," Jacob exclaid.
After requesting manpower from the City administration, he ended the call.
He then looked around and found Jacob Henry.
"You must be a university instructor. I'll be heading to the passage end. The underground passage is at risk of collapse. Don't let anyone near the entrance." After saying that, he left.
Actually, Scott had his digital device recording his walk. His team mbers had done this well. That's why he had asked them to evacuate the people living above this fault line.
Then he was going to follow the exact distance covered in ters to find out the location of the underground passage end.

There was a state of panic among the people as the beast tars were forcing inhabitants to vacate their hos and shops.
These people didn't know why, but they agreed when they learned the identity of the beast tars. They were from the City administration.
So they had no choice but to cooperate.
Unfortunately, Scott and his team were still a bit short in their efforts.
The underground passage running through Goldcorp's construction site collapsed first. It imdiately caused the ground above the surface to cave in.
The construction workers were shocked and stopped their work. They saw that the ground collapse was extending further. It was not stopping at all.
"What's going on?"
"Is this a sign of a quake?"
The workers were terrified.
"Leave the place!"
"It's not safe. Inform the City Administration."
The workers shouted, alerting others. Then they left the area one after another, with no one getting near the caved-in spot.
So feared it was an earthquake, while others thought it was so underground corrupted beast causing this.
Their panic was real. It didn't take long for the whole City A to be alerted. The news broadcast channel started telecasting the disaster.
The ground collapse was destroying many building structures, shops, and residences along the way. The ground collapse is still extending.
People witnessing this scene on live and digital screens were terrified at heart.
