3rd Day:
One hour later,
Jeremy ca to the end of the abandoned ruins area. He was greeted by the aura of wilderness. The wild wind brushed his face.
A hint of yearning flashed in Jeremy's eyes. He really wanted to go out from this controlled environnt to the wilderness, where he could sense danger all the ti.
As far as he could see, there was only vast barren land where so of the old cities had been taken over by the forest.
There were also so danger zones,where both Corrupted Beasts and Beast Tars' exploration were avoided, such as wastelands where the chemical dumps had been stored before the mutation.
Such places had undergone a terrible change. Only the higher-tier Beast Tars knew what was hiding in them, so there were so many places waiting to be explored.
Suddenly, Jeremy found several people peeping at him. He realized that the University Patrol Teams were watching him. After taking a last look, he decided to return and search for the Tier-2 Beast.
Ti passed in the blink of an eye.
The following morning,
The 1st Year Beast Tars began to return. May Lindsey arrived alone. Her appearance caused the Elental Departnt Beast Tars to cheer.
Even her Departnt Instructor looked at her like a treasure. May Lindsey ignored everyone's gazes before turning towards the Control Departnt.
Seeing that Victor had yet to co, she returned to her position. She was confident of winning the competition. The only person who could pose a threat to her was Victor Scott.
Ti passed,
Victor Scott returned alone as well, but his expression was not good. Especially after seeing May Lindsey looking at him, his mood worsened. He knew that the competition was between the two of them.
Her gaze was questioning. She wanted to know his kill count. Similarly, he didn't know what her kill count was. That's why he had been worried that his kill count was not enough.
Victor quickly avoided her gaze before returning to the Control Departnt. His departnt team greeted him with cheers.
He ignored them. Suddenly, his gaze fell on the last spot. Seeing that the loner was not there, a hint of ridicule flashed in his eyes. He thought that even if he lost to May Lindsey, he wouldn't necessarily have to feel the embarrassnt.
Because all the lilight would be taken by soone else. Thinking about it, he felt better.
Not long after, Petra Ross and Levy Glass returned as well.
Only when everyone had returned could the kill count be started.
About 10 minutes later,
Jeremy appeared. Seeing that everyone was looking at him, Jeremy smiled and walked towards Instructor Jacob.
"You boy, looks like you have lost interest in the competition," Jacob said with a knowing smile.
Jeremy was stunned before his gaze fell on the huge virtual screen. A look of understanding dawned on him. He knew that the instructors were monitoring him.
But upon seeing the big virtual screen, he felt strange. He doubted whether they had seen his actions in the Underground Tunnel.
"Don't worry, Instructor Jacob. We won't be at the bottom. I think we will be in the upper mid-level of the departnt rankings," Jeremy said confidently.
Because he had a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast's head with him, he doubted anyone else had it. If they did, then the patrol team would have cleared it long before.
"Upper middle, huh?" Jacob uttered in surprise.
He knew where Jeremy's confidence ca from. Everyone had seen him going into the underground tunnel more than once.
"Jeremy, you have shown us good performance, but I hoped you would have taken care of those Tier-1 Beasts as well," Ariel Burt said in a serious tone.
"Instructor Ariel," Jeremy said.
He knew that it was impossible to convince them right now.
"Instructor, you will know the reason when I submit my kill count," he said.
"Oh," Ariel's eyes flashed with surprise.
She then thought of the underground tunnel as well. She suddenly beca interested in seeing what this kid was up to.
Jeremy didn't explain further. He then turned towards the patrol team captain and began waiting for the rest of them to arrive.
On the other hand, Petra Ross was looking at Jeremy Night. Seeing him confidently speaking to the Instructors, she couldn't help but furrowed her eyebrows.
"Harumph," she then snorted in dissatisfaction. She didn't know why seeing his happy face pissed her off even more. She then turned towards her friends to talk.
At the sa ti, Levy Glass's eyes flashed with a chill. He saw both Petra Ross and Jeremy Night. He felt bad upon seeing Jeremy's calm and collected face.
Which ant Jeremy's hunt had gone well. For him, it wasn't surprising, but he hoped Jeremy wouldn't exceed his kill count.

"He...He...He..., the loser is back," Victor Scott grinned.
The other Departnt Instructors looked at Jeremy as well because Jeremy's performance was eye-catching among the Departnt Representatives.
Among them, only the dicine Departnt and Machinery Departnt Instructors showed worry. They had seen the combat power of Jeremy Night.
So they didn't know whether Jeremy Night's kill count could surpass theirs. The strength and power of their Beast Tars were low compared to the others.
Most of them hunted Tier-1 Corrupted Beasts mostly. Those who tried to confront Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts got injured and were rescued later.
But still having more Beast Tars was better than just one. So both the Departnt Instructors thought they had chances.
About 20 minutes later,
When everyone had returned, the middle-aged Captain looked at everyone before saying, "Let's start with the Attack Departnt's Beast Tars."
"Co forward one by one and place the decapitated heads of the Corrupted Beasts on the table," he added.
Hearing this, the Departnt Representative of the Attack Departnt went forward. He was a young man with a lean physique. He stepped forward to submit the decapitated heads.
He started taking out the decapitated heads of Tier-1 Beasts first. One by one, he began placing the heads on the table. When the count crossed 30, he took out the decapitated head of the Tier-2 Beast.
