Dean's office:
Dean Carolyn was sitting behind the desk when she noticed Jacob was there. She allowed him to co in.
Then Jacob walked inside, carrying a smile on his face, as if he hadn't done anything wrong.
Carolyn smiled and asked, "Take a seat."
Her voice sounded simple and casual.
Jacob nodded to her before taking a seat. He noticed that the Dean was angry, at least visibly. He was happy inside.
"I knew you took those two kids to that arena. How was the duel?" she asked, just being curious.
Jacob said, "Jeremy wanted to see a real Corrupted Tier-4 Beast. So not only did he see a Corrupted Tier-4 Beast, but also a Tier-5 Lifeline Beast."
"He is interested in Corrupted Tier-4 Beasts?" Carolyn uttered.
Jacob smiled happily and replied, "Jeremy can already hunt Corrupted Tier-3 Beasts. He was looking for a Corrupted Tier-4 Beast to fight."
"Unfortunately, only second-years can fight them," he added.
A hint of seriousness appeared in Carolyn's eyes.
"Don't you think that kid is being reckless? The Striker Departnt depends on him. If he is seeking Corrupted Tier-4 Beasts already, it might endanger his life."
"You should warn him. Not all the Corrupted Tier-3 Beasts are the sa. There are so Beasts which can endanger the lives of Tier-4 Beast Tars."
"It's still a long way for him before he gets enough experience to fight against the Corrupted Tier-4 Beasts," Carolyn warned in a serious tone.
She thinks Jacob is unknowingly encouraging their curiosity. It's good that kids want to know about the higher-tier corrupted Beasts.
But it's different if they ever tried to fight against them. Especially since here they get enough experience.
Jacob understood as well. It's just that he thinks Jeremy and Betsy are not irresponsible. They co from the Governor Family, so they must know the seriousness of the matter as well.
"Don't worry, Dean. I'll be careful hereafter," Jacob assured.
"Good. I think that kid Betsy has integrated as well. On her first day, she was able to visit the arena with you two," Carolyn said.
"They both are sensible kids. I'm hoping the other four who have yet to join are responsible as well," he replied.
"Now that you've touched the topic, I can say that they have different backgrounds, but they are not from the Governor Family."
"I have asked them to join. They will co in two days," she said.
"Okay," Jacob replied.
Then they talked about other topics before he left the place.
Ti passed.
Jeremy Night woke up past noon and then got out of bed to do his morning routine.
An hour later,
He sat cross-legged on the ground and started practicing the inner healing thod. While doing that, he observed the state of the Lifeline Beast's unknown egg.
Right now, the ntal zone was filled with starlight energy.
The unknown egg was absorbing the natural energy from the surroundings. It looked healthy, but Jeremy had no idea how much natural energy was required for the egg to hatch.
He then ended the practice about an hour later. He stood up and went to take a shower. The bath lasted for 20 minutes.
He then walked out and began to dress. He wore his uniform. The Striker Departnt has a new mber. He didn't know when the others were joining.
He hoped that others would join as soon as possible so that he could form a team. In anticipation, he started to get ready.
About 20 minutes later,
He left the dorm building and headed toward the Departnt Building. Jeremy Night was walking on the pathway.
This pathway only led to his departnt building, but he saw other departnt Beast Tars ahead. He identified them using their Departnt Crest.
"What are the people from the Attack Departnt doing here?" he asked himself.
He recognized so familiar faces from the last ti he saw them during the Departnt Ranking Competition.
There were more than six people talking to each other.
Jeremy ignored them and tried to walk past them, but just as he did, he found the gazes of the Attack Departnt Beast Tars on him.
"Jeremy Night!"
"Wait!"
He heard the calling from behind. Jeremy turned around and saw one of them coming toward him.
"Jeremy, I'm Robin from the 1st Year Attack Departnt."
"I saw your performance during the Departnt Ranking Competition," Robin said with an enthusiastic smile on his face.
"I recognize you as well. So what do you want?" Jeremy asked, his eyes sweeping across the others behind him.
He felt as if everyone was waiting for him.
Robin's eyes flashed with a glint. He couldn't expose his true intentions.
He said, "We are going to the wilderness to hunt, but we lack two mbers."
"One of them has agreed to co from the Elental Departnt, but we are still looking for the last one. So we thought of asking you," he added.
"Yes, Jeremy. Our team is made up of strong Beast Tars. We are hoping that you can join us."
"Jeremy Night, join us!"
"Yeah, we are not going to drag you."
"You can sit back and relax."
The Beast Tars behind Robin started to voice their opinions as well.
"What is this?" Jeremy Night's eyes flickered.
Jeremy had been looking for a way to form his own team. Before that, he thought there was no way to go to the wilderness. But he didn't expect people to approach him.
He was happy and got excited as well, but he didn't suspect their words.
Robin and others saw Jeremy's reaction and noted how happy he was. They thought their plan had worked. Jeremy Night didn't suspect them.
Robin couldn't hide his smile. The task given by the second-year senior was completed, and he could now go back and relax.
Jeremy Night trusted them and decided to go with them. Then he thought of Instructor Jacob and Betsy Lowe.
"Alright, I'll go with you guys. But I have to inform the Instructor," Jeremy Night said.
Robin hesitated for a second before nodding his head. Nobody knew about their plan, so he was not worried about getting exposed.
