Jeremy then contacted Instructor Jacob and told him about the mission. Jacob was surprised during the call. He knew it was rare for departnt beast tars to co and ask for help from other departnts.
But he didn't find anything wrong to pinpoint. So he obviously thought it was a good idea. Since many of them were going, they could solve the problem.
So he agreed to let Jeremy Night go with them.
Jeremy then ended the call and looked at Robin.
"My instructor has agreed. So let's go," Jeremy said.
Robin's eyes flashed with a glint. A bright smile appeared on his face. The others behind him cheered as well. Everyone knew it was just a plan to bring him out.
Their second-year seniors were already waiting for Jeremy in the wilderness.
"Okay, with your assistance we will hunt more corrupted beasts," Robin said.
Jeremy smiled. He then joined them and followed them towards the exit. After leaving the gate, he saw there were three flying cars waiting for them.
A total of nine of them were there, including him. The last mber from the Elental Departnt was yet to co. From ti to ti, Robin made sure to engage in normal conversation.
So that the other party wouldn't feel separated. The other beast tars were quite scared, but still, they didn't show it outwardly. There was no doubt that Jeremy was stronger than them.
If they fought him here, then the chances of them getting injured were high. So they were behaving as normally as possible.
Not long after,
A tall beast tar wearing the Elental Departnt crest arrived. Jeremy and the others looked at him. Jeremy didn't recognize him. But Robin stepped forward to greet him.
"Hey, Rudi. You're a bit late!"
"Let introduce you; he is Jeremy Night from the Striker Departnt," Robin said with a sidelong glance.
Rudi understood the assignnt as well. Before coming here, Robin included him in this plan to make Jeremy Night believable.
"Hi, I'm Rudi from the Elental Departnt. I watched you during the Departnt Ranking Competition," Rudi said.
"It's nice to see you," Jeremy replied with a smile.
"Since everyone is here, let's hop inside the vehicle," Robin said.
In the next second, the 10 beast tars entered the vehicle. The first four entered the first vehicle. Then three beast tars entered the second vehicle. And lastly, Jeremy Night, Robin, and Rudi entered the third vehicle.
It was pre-planned by the second year. They didn't want others to co in contact with Jeremy. If any one of them gave away, then their relationship with Jeremy Night would be irreversible.
Swoosh!
When everyone was inside the vehicle, the flying cars began to rise from the ground one by one. After appearing in midair, they started moving towards the City Wall.
anwhile,
Betsy Lowe had arrived at the departnt but saw no one in the class.
"What happened to him?"
"Is he still asleep?" Betsy muttered to herself.
Last night's duel arena experience was sothing. She talked to her family, and they were surprised and shocked. The duel arena is neither a good nor a bad place.
Normally, students aren't allowed. Her family was surprised to hear that Instructor Jacob managed to do this.
She then sat in her seat and waited for Instructor Jacob to arrive.
Shortly afterward, she received a call from him explaining Jeremy Night had gone for a mission with the Attack Departnt beast tars.
She was stunned. For a second, she thought she was left out. But then Jacob explained carefully. After knowing that it was them who sought help to fill the gap for the missing mber,
She relaxed and decided to hit the training facilities.
Wilderness,
The 2nd Year Attack Departnt beast tars were camping at a place not far from the City Wall. Only a few of them were there.
If all the strong beast tars went outside at the sa ti, it might attract the attention of others. Right now, six of them were present.
They were there to intimidate Jeremy Night. As long as the other party was scared and dared not act or show off before the other departnts, then the matter would be settled.
Their goal, along with so of the families' intentions, was to hinder the growth of the Striker Departnt. So that they could not get enough resources from the administration.
There was only one way for their plan to succeed, which was when the Striker Departnt representative underperford. They and their families knew it was Dean Carolyn's initiative to redevelop the Striker Departnt.
But she would only give resources if Jeremy Night showed better performance. Jeremy Night was like the first-generation beast tars right now.
Only if he did well would the Striker Departnt attract good talent from the next year onwards. So they wanted to hinder Jeremy Night right now.
Beep!
One of them received a text from Robin. It was just a short code. It ant success. Seeing that, the beast tars inford others.
"Good!"
"From now on, we can focus on training."
"I hope that first-year kid gives up. Otherwise, we might have to break a few of his fingers."
"But what if he discovers our identity?"
"Don't worry; we are disguised right now. No one can identify us. He might think we are thugs sent by a bunch of powerful families in City A."
The beast tars were confident in their disguise. They were not stupid. Earlier, their families had discussed killing Jeremy Night instead of warning him.
But Jeremy Night's own background and Dean Carolyn had stopped them from taking such extre actions. These families were quite troubled by the elite and top families' inaction.
So they had decided to try it on their own.
anwhile, three flying taxis reached the city wall. They landed at the entrance. The beast tars then exited the taxis one by one.
Jeremy stepped out, followed by Robin and Rudi.
Then they went to the exit gate. There were guards standing there to check their identities. The guards asked for their information.
Upon hearing the na of Central University 14, their attitude beca respectful. So of the guards were graduates from the sa university.
