While practicing under the huge, thorny trees, the unknown beast egg inside the ntal zone beca activated as well.
It started actively absorbing the natural energy of the place. He didn’t know how long it had been before he heard a clicking sound.
The unknown beast egg broke through. It reached the Mid-stage. Jeremy Night was surprised; the breakthrough was fast and quick.
After the breakthrough, the unknown beast egg continued to absorb the natural energy from the surroundings.
Jeremy Night controlled his inner excitent and stayed on alert. He didn’t want any corrupted beasts to appear now. He had yet to receive the feedback energy from the beast, so he was extrely focused.
Ti went by.
At one point, the unknown beast egg stopped sucking the natural energy. Its new strength was stabilized.
Buzz!
The next second, it started to give the feedback energy.
Jeremy Night sighed in relief. The feedback energy entered his body, and he began to circulate it. As the feedback energy flowed through his body, the cells began absorbing it.
The cells began to evolve. His whole physique started experiencing a transformation. As ti went by, Jeremy Night felt the changes in his body.
He had been worried that his accumulation was not enough, but he underestimated the power of the unknown beast egg. The feedback energy appeared to be endless.
Two hours later, Jeremy broke through. He reached the Mid-stage from the Early Stage of Tier-3, 1st Rank.
The unknown beast egg stopped giving the feedback energy to him.
Tier-3, 1st Rank — Mid-Stage (Breakthrough)
After the breakthrough, there were visible changes to his body, but it demanded more energy. So, he continued to circulate the natural energy in his body.
He didn’t know how much ti passed before he felt his new strength stabilize. Then, he opened his eyes and observed his condition.
His gaze fell on the thin layer of impurities covering his skin. Then, he saw that his clothes had beco slightly shorter. A quick gleam flashed in his eyes.
He stood up and looked at himself. He had grown a few inches taller; it was a pleasant surprise.
Not only that, but he could feel the hidden energy inside his muscles. It was just a small-stage breakthrough, yet the benefits were huge.
Perhaps it was due to his previous accumulation. Jeremy then shifted his attention to the ntal zone.
He noticed the starlight power was the sa. It looked like a solid white brick filling the space.
However, he knew that the solid white brick was made of multiple layers of white thread. He tried to control a single layer of white thread.
The next mont, a single hair-like thread was peeled off from the solid starlight brick.
The hair-like thread hovered above. His gaze fell on it; it appeared to have undergone so changes. He circulated the starlight power, and not long after, the sa starlight thread wrapped around his finger.
Now he could look at the starlight thread closely. The thread was thicker than before. He tried to bend the starlight thread according to his wishes. Surprisingly, the thread didn’t break.
A hint of excitent appeared in his eyes. He had been worried earlier because of the thinness of the thread; he couldn’t bend it properly, and too much force had broken it before.
Now, he could bend the thread whichever way he wanted. This discovery made him more enthusiastic.
The starlight thread may have looked simple, but he knew the destructive power hidden within it. Suddenly, he had an idea. He could use the starlight thread to test sothing.
He looked at the starlight thread wrapped around his finger and began looking around. He found a dead tree; there were no branches left, only the trunk.
Seeing that, he thought it was a good idea to test the starlight power on the tree trunk.
He walked up to the dead trunk. Then, he extended his finger and controlled the single layer of the starlight thread.
Swoosh!
The starlight thread extended like a sharp knife. He imdiately used the thread to slash down at the trunk.
Boom!
The starlight thread easily penetrated the wooden trunk, leaving behind multiple blade cuts.
Gasp!
A small exclamation escaped his mouth. Jeremy had expected it to be like this, but the visuals still stunned him. The starlight thread left behind cuts just like a sharp blade.
He noticed that the starlight thread had thinned out now, but he was not disappointed. The power hidden in it was enough to make him satisfied.
Boom!
An earth-shattering noise sounded the next mont.
Hearing that, Jeremy recovered his thoughts and tried to observe his surroundings. The deafening noise ca from sowhere nearby. Finally, he saw sothing in the night.
A dark cloud was coming in his direction. He had never seen such a cloud so close to the green canopy. Suddenly, an uneasy feeling rose in his heart.
He felt those dark clouds were not ordinary. He used his eye ability to zoom into the cloud. His gaze pierced through the darkness.
The dark clouds were nothing but a swarm of Tsetse Insect Fly Beasts.
Jeremy’s expression changed drastically.
"Damn it," he cursed under his breath.
Swoosh!
The next second, he darted out from the place. In the blink of an eye, he picked the exact opposite direction and disappeared into the woods.
The Tsetse Fly Beast group was moving in a random direction; they weren’t targeting anyone.
Suddenly, among the group, a Tier-6 Beast caught the scent of the human prey responsible for the injuries suffered by its kin.
Swoosh!
The moving dark cloud suddenly ca to a halt. The Tier-6 Beast communicated with the others.
The next mont, the dark cloud changed direction. It started chasing down the fleeing human.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night felt his sense of crisis increase. He slightly turned around and saw the huge dark cloud coming his way.
He understood that he was exposed. He had injured the insect beast before, so it would not be easy to escape their grasp.
But he didn’t give up. He was going to use the sa thod to flee through the dense, dark green canopy. But this ti, he had to be careful of the Tier-6 Beast.
