5th Zone, Wilderness

The bald-headed old man was trying to find so clues. He wanted to find out which beast had killed the Giant Bear.

But he failed in the end. There were no claw marks on the Giant Bear, so he ruled out bird-type beasts. The beast’s body had nurous holes.

It appeared to be left behind by a beast with a horn. The old man was confused; he still couldn’t find which beast was responsible for it.

The old man looked ahead, his gaze sweeping across the wilderness. If he went further deep inside, anything could happen.

The fear of the unknown is dangerous, and the old man didn’t want to take a risk. He decided to take the Giant Bear’s corpse with him.

He wanted to know whether anyone in the Human Alliance could recognize it. He returned to the previous spot and put the giant bear corpse away inside his storage ring.

Then, he made his return journey to the city. He was rushing back because the unknown region made him nervous.

He thought sothing had terrified the Tier-9 Corrupted Beasts.

One of them had escaped; it must have been the Tier-9 Sky Crocodile. The other beast must have been the Tier-9 Ground Bear.

Sothing had killed the Tier-9 Ground Bear, and he wanted to inform the Human Alliance higher-ups as soon as possible.

A few minutes later,

He saw the city and flew over the city wall. He then went to the city administration.

Swoosh!

In a flash, he arrived in front of the admin building. A white-haired old man was already waiting there. His na was Maurice.

The bald-headed old man was Ambrose. His arrival alerted others, and Maurice walked outside.

He saw Senior Ambrose and wanted to know the answer. However, Senior Ambrose’s face did not look good.

"Maurice, you stay here. I’m going back to the Human Alliance."

"I have found sothing suspicious, and I need to discuss it with the higher-ups," Ambrose said to him.

Maurice was taken aback. He could tell that sothing was up. He nodded his head and didn’t ask anything.

Ambrose then left the city. He didn’t even inform the Governors; if the details were leaked, the whole city would be terrified.

Ambrose wished that his assumption was wrong. He feared that sothing dangerous was hidden in the unexplored area.

If it attacked the city, the city would be razed to the ground. Maurice returned to the office to wait.

Ti passed,

The governors finished the rescue efforts in a few hours. All the injured people were rescued from the rubble, but the casualty rate was high. Many had died in the city.

If they took the people who died at the frontline into account, their casualty numbers were even higher.

Since the Beast Tide was over, the airport service resud. They had started receiving help from other cities and zones.

dical resources arrived in large numbers, as they were needed by the injured Beast Tars.

The top forces had the resources to buy them; they wanted to save their family Beast Tars.

Among the family Beast Tars, there were so Beast Taming Families who suffered heavy damage. One of them was the Hill Family.

Robert Hill had been looking for his son after returning to the family, but he couldn’t find him.

He thought his son must be with his Central University friends, so he shifted his focus to repairing the damaged buildings.

The following day,

Jeremy Night woke up late. He felt his mood was better than last night. He recalled what had happened yesterday.

He didn’t imdiately get out of bed; he sat there for a couple of minutes. He then took out his device and started watching the online news.

The news feed appeared. He saw positive headlines, many people were rescued successfully but the death toll was even higher than that.

Many of them had died due to lightning annihilation, while others had died during building collapses.

The Beast Tars who died in the battle were fewer in number. Jeremy was calm; it took him a few minutes to accept things.

He needed to grow stronger to survive in such situations. He then collected his thoughts and got out of bed. He started following his schedule.

....

Outside,

Head Neil Moon didn’t leave. He needed to verify the situation of Jeremy Night.

Head Harold was sitting opposite him. Harold’s mood was terrible. Red Moon Chamber mbers had died beyond his imagination.

The injured and deceased Beast Tars needed to be compensated, and he had already released most of the resources.

What was worse, he hadn’t heard from the Governors. They should have told them by now whether the Beast Invasion was over or not.

Earlier, he had gone to the frontline and spotted guards fighting against corrupted beasts.

He didn’t know whether the corrupted beasts were from the unexplored area or from other parts of the wilderness.

There were so many things to explain. Head Neil Moon saw through his thoughts and knew the problem.

"Why don’t we call the City Governor?" Neil Moon asked.

Hearing that, Harold raised his eyebrows.

"I have tried many tis, but they haven’t attended the call. This makes more anxious. They are hiding sothing from us," Harold replied.

"Do you want to leave or stay here?" Neil Moon asked.

Harold was silent. He didn’t know what was going to happen next, but he thought the Red Moon Chamber needed two Tier-8 Beast Tars.

Once the situation returned to normal, Neil Moon could return to the 10th Zone.

"You can go back later. First, et with the kid," Harold said to him.

"I’m hoping that he will co down," Neil Moon said.

....

Room

Jeremy Night completed his practice. He then entered the bathroom to take a shower.

20 minutes later,

He walked out and wore so casual clothes. He then thought of Sister linda and others. He took out the device to call her. Fortunately, the call was connected.

"Jeremy, where are you?" linda asked.

"I’m in my room. Where are you, Sister?" he asked her back.

"Co downstairs," she said.

Her tone sounded heavy. He didn’t know what was going on, but he felt it was bad news. He then left the room to see her.
