Red Moon Chamber
Jeremy ca downstairs. As usual, the lobby was filled with people. Everyone was discussing the injured mbers and the beast invasion.
News of the fight at the frontline had been received by the others, though they didn’t know whether it was a continuation of the Beast Tide.
Jeremy heard them as well. He shook his head before looking around. He finally saw Sister linda sitting there.
Seeing her, he walked up to her. She looked injured and down. He went over and sat opposite her.
"Sister linda, what happened?" he asked.
Hearing him, linda raised her head and saw Jeremy Night. Seeing that Jeremy was fine and without injury, she sighed in relief.
"I was worried that sothing had happened to you," linda said. Her tone was heavy, conveying that sothing bad had occurred.
Jeremy furrowed his eyebrows. He had a bad feeling about this, but he wanted to confirm it.
"What about the team mbers?" he asked.
Quiet!
There was silence. linda clenched her fists. She slowly raised her head and said, "The mbers were wiped out except for Freya, Theo, and . But we are not unscathed; our lifeline beasts were injured."
"It will take months for them to recover," she added.
Jeremy was stunned. He knew sothing bad had happened to the team due to his instincts, but he never knew it was this terrible.
Apart from her, there were two Tier-5 Beast Tars and four Tier-4 Beast Tars. To think they had died, he was quiet. He didn’t know what to say or how to console her.
"I’m sorry," Jeremy replied.
If he had been with the team, maybe the deaths could have been averted. But he had chosen to fight alone.
Jeremy stood up and left the place. He went to the exit and left the building. He didn’t expect to hear such terrible news. It had a huge impact on her.
That’s why she was so down. He reached the exit and started walking on the footpath toward the garden. What am I doing? I should be consoling her, he thought.
But Jeremy wanted to be alone. His thoughts were ssed up. For the first ti, he realized the terror brought by the Tier-9 Corrupted Beasts.
Sohow, the Lords from the Human Alliance had co to save the day. But if they hadn’t, the city would have been leveled.
The current situation of the human zones was that they were dependent on the Human Alliance for Tier-9 Beast Tars.
He didn’t know what was happening with the top three zones. The top three zones were located in resource-rich areas, so their confrontations with corrupted beasts must be common.
By walking, he reached the garden and sat on a stone bench. There was no one else there at that mont.
He relaxed as the breeze brushed past his face. He took out his device and started watching the online news.
On the other hand, both Heads learned that Jeremy Night had appeared. He had spoken with linda before leaving the building.
It didn’t take long for Head Harold to find out Jeremy Night was sitting alone in the garden. Head Harold thought the kid needed so ti alone.

Hill Family
The Hill Family was one of the top Beast Taming families. It was completely devastated right now.
The young heir, Tyson Hill, was nowhere to be found. Family Head Robert Hill thought his son was hanging out with the Central University students.
But upon searching, he found out no one had seen Tyson Hill since the attack. Robert Hill had searched all the important places.
He had even used the help of the Darkshade Organization to find clues.
Even the Darkshade Organization was struggling to find anything in this tense situation.
Many people had died due to the lightning strikes released by the Tier-9 Crocodile Beast earlier.
Robert Hill was afraid that his son was one of the victims. The truth could only be confird later. He didn’t want to press the Governors on this personal matter.
They had a lot to deal with.

Human Alliance
The corpse of the giant beast brought by Lord Ambrose was under inspection. Like him, the higher-ups were confused.
They too saw that the corpse had multiple holes. It must have been caused by a horn-type beast, but they were perplexed.
Not many Tier-9 Beast Tars were there; everyone had gone out on missions. It might take ti for them to co up with answers.
But Ambrose needed an answer. He had Maurice waiting there. He still had the feeling that the Beast Tide was not over yet.
The old man finally consulted with others, but they didn’t buy his theory. Tier-9 Corrupted beasts didn’t generally attack cities.
So, the higher-ups thought old man Ambrose was worried for nothing. They asked Maurice to return as well. They were in urgent need of Tier-9 Beast Tars.
They couldn’t have soone wasting ti there.
The following day, Maurice left the city. He told the governors to be careful before he departed. He knew what was happening in the Human Alliance.
Senior Ambrose’s words were not being taken seriously. They couldn’t stay without evidence. So, he told the Governors to be vigilant instead.
But his words only made them more worried. The three Governors were not naive. They understood the subtle aning behind Lord Maurice’s words.
Governor Martin decided to convene another eting. He didn’t dare neglect the words of Senior Maurice. He decided to be careful.
Post-noon, the Heads of the top forces gathered in the administration office for the eting. The Beast Taming Association and Central University Heads had arrived as well.
They were the main reasons why the city had survived. In particular, the lifeline beast of the Beast Taming Association Head had suffered a lot.
When he arrived, he was greeted by others. The heads of various families were grateful to the Beast Taming Association.
If not for the thorn lifeline beast, the city would have been decimated by the lightning strikes. Their hos would have been destroyed.
They didn’t know why the eting had been arranged. One by one, they entered the building for the eting.
