The Tier-6 Ape beast was in a frenzied state. Jeremy thought it was a good ti to test his blade skills.
His blade skills had long since entered the interdiate stage. He had made further improvents during practice as well.
Swoosh!
He disappeared from the spot and quickly appeared in front of the ape. The Tier-6 Ape beast, with its blood-red eyes, had completely lost its intellect.
It would kill anyone in its sight. The beast then saw another tiny prey with Tier-3 strength. It didn’t wait. It rushed forward to attack.
Seeing that, he unsheathed his blade. The ape beast appeared in a flash before him. The next second, it brought its two hands down to crush him.
Swoosh!
Jeremy Night took a few steps backward.
Boom!
The hands crushed the empty ground. A shockwave spread across the place.
Roar!
The ape beast roared. Its blood-red eyes saw the prey again. It once again leaped forward to crush him.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night gripped his blade. He covered the blade in starlight power.
He was using his old tactics. He was not going to confront it head-on. He had learned his lesson back at the special base.
The ape beast punched forward. The attack was fast. Jeremy Night saw the attack. He used his eye power to predict it. His senses were heightened.
Just before the punch could hurt him, he shifted his body weight. The punch brushed past him. It was a few inches away.
Slice!
Right then, he used his second eye power to locate the blood vessels. Next, the blade in his hand stabbed the massive hand.
Puchak!
The blade penetrated inside. But he felt the power of the ape beast. It could swing his whole body away.
Boom!
Before he could withdraw the blade, the ape beast swung its hand. Then he felt the blade loosen.
He decisively withdrew it before landing on the ground. He retreated a few ters back.
Roar!
The ape beast roared out loud. Blood was flowing out from the injury. The blade stab had left behind a small hole.
Jeremy saw the wound. He was satisfied. The breakthrough had clearly strengthened his starlight power.
Seeing that, the ape beast got further enraged. Its anger went through the roof. The next second, the ape beast’s body was shrouded in crimson energy.
Jeremy Night felt a sense of crisis. The sense of crisis was real. He saw that the crimson power of the ape beast was bringing out danger.
He understood that the ape beast was using an ability. He once again coated the blade with starlight power.
The sense of crisis made his senses sharpen. He continued to use his second eye power. The whole body of the beast beca transparent in his eyes.
He was looking at the vital points of the beast to target.
Boom!
The ape beast’s gaze fell on him. The sense of crisis went through the roof. He gripped the blade.
The ape beast once again moved to attack. But the speed of the beast was different this ti.
Swoosh!
Jeremy Night was able to see the ape beast. This ti, he took the risk to follow his previous thod.
When the beast got closer to him, he saw it was completely shrouded in crimson energy.
Roar!
The beast let out a roar before raising its hand to smash.
"Explosive Steps"
Jeremy Night used the movent technique. A powerful energy burst beneath his feet. He moved his body backward at the last mont.
Boom!
The beast’s hand smashed the ground. This ti, a deeper pit appeared. A shockwave spread across the place.
Ti passed.
Jeremy followed the sa thod. Whenever the beast let down its guard, he stabbed the beast’s vital points.
Blood flowed out from the injuries. As ti passed, he continued with these tactics. The starlight power helped him break through the hard defense of the beast.
At one point, the whole body of the beast was riddled with holes. The loss of blood weakened the beast. The crimson energy shrouding it had beco thin.
If the fight went on, the beast would die. The ape beast’s bloodthirstiness disappeared, and it regained so clarity.
Knowing that this Tier-3 prey was hard to deal with, the ape beast decided to leave. The Tier-6 beast wanted to recover from its injuries.
It decisively left the place.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night was exhausted. His whole body was drenched in sweat. He was catching his breath.
The starlight power in his ntal zone was reduced to half. He had only stabbed; he hadn’t used his blade’s primary thod.
Yet, he had delivered more than a hundred stabs to its vital points. If not for the ape beast’s crimson ability, it would have bled to death long ago.
This ti, he had clearly used a combination of his second eye power and precision strikes to defeat the beast.
Jeremy then sat down under a tree. He went through his storage ring and ate so energy pills. He then used his breathing thod to recover sowhat.
This ti, he was not passive against the Tier-6 beast. He clearly took the lead. From beginning to end, the battle was under his control.
He didn’t know what would happen against a Tier-7 beast. He had experience fleeing from such beasts. They were on another level.
Even with his eyes, he thought it would be difficult to kill a Tier-7 beast with an ability. Unless there were special circumstances, like the beast being injured.
But such situations were rare. Beasts would flee once they suffered injuries.
The natural energy from the environnt entered his body. He continued to circulate the energy.
Ti passed.
He regained his strength. But the ti was already past noon. He didn’t think it was necessary to stay here for the night.
He could still co back tomorrow. He then made the return journey. Today’s harvest was good.
He didn’t have many corrupted beasts to kill, but he was able to test his blade skills. Clearly, his blade skills had gone further. But he needed to continue with his progression.
