"Benefactor, it's not that I refuse to report, but I have my own concerns. Why do you insist on making it difficult for ?"
The great monk looked at Xu Fan's unfriendly face, and for so reason, his heart started to thump wildly, feeling as though sothing big was about to happen.
"Young man, the master said it's inconvenient, so why insist on making it difficult?"
"Exactly, in front of the gods and Buddha, you cannot be rude!"
A group of worshippers who ca to offer incense saw the great monk's troubled face and were indignant, also voicing their disapproval of Xu Fan's rudeness.
Xu Fan naturally wouldn't bother with these small fry. He chuckled, didn't respond, signaled to Jiang Quan behind him, and turned to walk toward the temple gate.
What a joke, what kind of person is Xu Fan? Even the old man in the black robe must be cautious in front of Xu Fan, not daring to show a hint of disrespect. Why would Xu Fan waste ti on a great monk?
Xu Fan didn't want to waste ti; the arduous task naturally fell upon Jiang Quan.
Seeing Xu Fan leave so effortlessly, the great monk let out a big sigh of relief. However, he noticed the benefactor following Xu Fan hadn't left and was walking towards him with a sinister smile.
Jiang Quan clenched his fists, making loud cracking sounds, and his sinister smile, coupled with the unique eerie aura from the Dark Council, made him appear nothing like a good person. He only lacked a label saying "bad guy" on his face!
"This benefactor, what- what do you intend to do? Within the Buddhist Sect, the atmosphere is solemn, you cannot be rude!" Watching Jiang Quan approaching step by step, the great monk felt his heart shaking with fear.
The great monk was rely an ordinary disciple within the sect, while Jiang Quan had broken through to the Mysterious Light Realm, with power approaching that of Zen Master Yunzhi. How could the monk not be afraid?
Furthermore, there were instructions from above: get rid of Xu Fan, but under no circumstances provoke him!
The master's face was filled with terror, let alone the group of worshippers around him. They avoided as if encountering a viper, screaming and pushing to hide aside. They were not afraid of the amicable Xu Fan but feared the sinister-looking Jiang Quan.
"Don't be rude? I am the rude one! Great monk, watch out!"
Jiang Quan wouldn't be polite with the great monk; he swung his sandbag-sized fist toward the monk's face, making the monk howl miserably, causing chaos in the entire temple.
A dignified Mysterious Light Realm expert, yet fighting like a street thug, was indeed troubleso for Jiang Quan.
Although the scene looked like a street brawl, it was quite intense. After all, the great monk was a Zhiwei Realm expert, not easily defeated by a punch or two, and with Jiang Quan deliberately not holding back, it beca a lively chase.
Only to see the great monk crawling and shouting, clutching his bald head and running around, while Jiang Quan followed, shouting along, landing more punches on the Buddha statues than on the monk, the rumbling sounds akin to an earthquake, frightening the worshippers into a frenzy.
They ca to the mountain to pray to Buddha for blessings. Who would have thought they'd witness such a terrifying scene?
After today, a considerable number of devout worshippers might cease to believe in Buddha.
The sect is quite large, yet the commotion caused by Jiang Quan wasn't small either. In an instant, three or four great halls were destroyed, worshippers scrambled down the mountain to escape, several monks tried to stop Jiang Quan, but how could they withstand his fists? He simply swung his fist without regard.
The scene grew even more chaotic, while Xu Fan leisurely followed behind Jiang Quan, feigning concern, shouting, "Oh dear, my friend has fallen ill, monks, please treat him!"
A group of monks cursed the new Buddhist Sect host for being devious but dared not speak out, only watching helplessly.
Jiang Quan was indeed a Mysterious Light Realm expert; a group of Zhiwei Realm experts in front of him were like ants. If Zen Master Yunzhi didn't appear, who could subdue Jiang Quan? And if he did, how could he ignore the host Xu Fan?
If Zen Master Yunzhi didn't appear soon, the entire sect might be torn apart by Jiang Quan!
"Alas!"
A soft sigh echoed as a mighty mysterious light erged: Zen Master Yunzhi hurriedly arrived. Though he hadn't appeared, his voice preceded him, "This is a sacred place, who dares to make noise?"
The monks, especially those who had suffered under Jiang Quan, nearly spat blood at his words. The place was almost torn down, far beyond re noise!
From Zen Master's stance, it was clear they suffered in vain.
Upon seeing a Mysterious Light Realm expert appear, Jiang Quan's symptoms improved greatly. He stopped acting crazy, turned to look at Xu Fan.
Xu Fan wore an expression of delight, "Ah, Jiang Quan, is your illness better? I told you earlier, when it gets cold, wear more clothes, but you never listen..."
In Xu Fan's joyful chatter, Jiang Quan laughably stood behind Xu Fan, while the monks opposite looked pained.
They knew Xu Fan and Jiang Quan were deliberately causing trouble to lure Zen Master Yunzhi out, but they didn't expect Xu Fan would use such a clumsy excuse.
What kind of illness causes soone to tear down statues upon attack? A sickness that severe resolved just by wearing more clothes?
However, none dared expose Xu Fan, rely looked resentfully at Zen Master Yunzhi.
The one who wanted Xu Fan out of the sect, deliberately avoiding him, was Yunzhi. Between Zen Master and host, neither could be offended, leading to today's farce.
Yunzhi rushed in, first saw the monks in shambles, full of grievance, and his heart trembled, then saw Xu Fan standing there with a fake smile, his heart thumped wildly.
Despite just a few months' absence, Yunzhi grew increasingly unable to grasp Xu Fan, especially after hearing Xu Fan defeated the Taoists; his fear peaked.
In his hesitation, Yunzhi was montarily unsure what to say.
Seeing Yunzhi dazed, Xu Fan chuckled and walked up, "Look at this master, such extraordinary temperant. You must be the person in charge here? My friend caused damage to your sect, I'll take full responsibility, no need to worry, master."
The term master made Yunzhi's heart tremble. Despite Yunzhi's usual self-proclaid heroism, having witnessed Xu Fan's thods firsthand, he dared not sche at all.
"The benefactor jests... Why are you all standing there? Go do your work!"
Grinding his teeth, Yunzhi first dismissed the miserable monks, then lowered his stance, bowing repeatedly to Xu Fan, apologizing, "Host, today's event was against my will..."
