The next day, after work, Sumr Sutton didn’t go directly to Watt Bennet’s place, but t with Alexander Winslow first.
She didn’t tell Watt Bennet about it, thinking he might not be pleased with her interference.
The restaurant she arranged with Alexander was near Royal Delight, and Sumr walked to the restaurant after work.
When she arrived, Alexander was already there.
"Alexander, about his injury, can you think of a way?" Sumr said directly after sitting down.
It’s not stubbornness, she simply cannot give up.
Adrian Walyon is such a proud person. Even though whether his leg can walk normally doesn’t affect his ability to make waves, Sumr feels the current situation sowhat impacts his psyche.
His constant evasion of her assistance in every way is the best proof.
"Ah!" Alexander sighed after her words, observing her closely for a long ti, as if sowhat helpless towards her.
Even he, the attending doctor, was close to giving up on Watt Bennet’s leg injury. Watt himself seed not to persist much.
When everyone else had given up, only she continued to persevere.
Alexander felt a bit sorry to see Sumr Sutton’s repeatedly disappointed eyes, his fingertips tapping on the table over and over, his brows tightly knitted. He pondered over her words for a long ti, the tapping of his fingertips gradually slowed.
Suddenly raising his face, his gaze swept in her direction, and he slowly uttered, "I rember long ago at the hospital where I studied, hearing a doctor talk about a crash involving the Old Master from the Ink Clan in M Country. The situation was similar to Watt Bennet’s, also diagnosed by various hospitals as having no chance of recovery. However, so ti ago, when the Old Master appeared in public, he was in great spirits, with no signs of abnormalities on his leg."
Alexander thought carefully again, "So, I’m pondering if the Old Master’s full recovery was due to so special dication researched by the family. Even if not, at least the Ink Family should know how to treat a condition like Watt Bennet’s."
Sumr Sutton listened quietly to his words, slowly raising her face, "Really?"
"You could give it a try," Alexander suggested.
"I understand, thank you. Please don’t tell Watt Bennet about our eting today, I’m leaving now." Standing up suddenly, Sumr grabbed her bag and headed out of the restaurant.
She left quickly, walking faster, then breaking into a run.
In her mind, Alexander’s words replayed over and over.
On her way back, Sumr Sutton’s chest was agitated, filled with excitent like she had been energized.
As long as there’s a chance for Watt Bennet to fully stand up again, she would not let it pass.
No matter the thod, she wants to try!
...
Upon returning, Sumr Sutton first called the manager of her departnt at Royal Delight.
"Manager, I’d like to request two weeks off."
"Two weeks? Sumr Sutton, you know you’re still in your internship period, right? Why not just resign after two weeks instead of coming back!"
"Manager, I know this request is a bit excessive, but I really hope you can approve it. I have urgent matters and must travel abroad. I sincerely hope you can consent." Sumr’s tone shifted to pleading.
"Everyone has urgent matters! But two weeks, do you understand the concept of two weeks? Such a long ti, with the company missing a person, do you know the impact?" The person on the other end of the line shouted at her irritably.
