Sumr Sutton actually knew that two weeks was a bit too long, but she had to go to M Country even if it ant risking being dismissed by Royal Delight!
"I just wanted to let you know about this, and we can decide on any punishnt once I return in two weeks!" Without further arguing with the manager, Sumr Sutton hung up the phone.
After that, she called several aides of Adrian Walyon at Morningview Group, delegating all company matters during her absence.
With everything arranged, Sumr Sutton asked Alexander Winslow to help her find the Ink Family’s address and booked a flight to M Country for the next day.
Watt Bennet returned at eight in the evening, and Sumr Sutton was packing her luggage.
Watt pushed his wheelchair slowly beside her, raising an eyebrow as he observed her.
"Taking the initiative?" Without needing to urge her further, she already knew to leave on her own?
"Yeah, I’ve been bothering you these days. I know I’ve caused you quite a bit of trouble, never letting you sleep well at night, always making you late for morning etings. I thought about it and decided to go stay sowhere else for a few days." Sumr Sutton responded earnestly.
Watt didn’t believe she was such a considerate person, his gaze at her was as strange as it could be.
Sumr Sutton largely ignored him, swiftly packed her suitcase, called over Unity, and affectionately rubbed Unity’s little furry head, "Baby, you haven’t seen dad for so long. How about staying here with him for a few days? Happy?"
Unity’s little head nudged her palm, as if reluctant to part with her.
Sumr Sutton hugged it again before handing it to Watt, "I won’t take Unity with . Could you look after it for a few days? It really likes you, seed so happy when it got here."
Watt awkwardly took the cat, feeling uncomfortable with her words the more he heard them.
Why did it sound like she was going away rather than just heading back to Morning Garden?
Sumr Sutton offered no explanation, lost in thought staring at his injured leg; she dragged her suitcase out of the villa.
Watt hadn’t wanted her to move in from the beginning. The only reason he didn’t kick her out these past few days was the fear of disappointing Sumr Sutton too many tis, so they wouldn’t have any chance in the future.
Now, without needing him to ask, she left voluntarily, and Watt should feel relieved.
But, watching Sumr Sutton’s departing figure for a long ti, he felt like there was a knot twisting in his heart, leaving him uncomfortable.
"Sumr..." Watt called to her as she was about to get in the car.
Sumr Sutton turned to glance at him, her eyes bright in the night.
"Are you planning to do sothing?" Watt asked, following his intuition.
"Don’t I have plenty to do? Every day there’s Royal Delight and Morningview Group." Sumr Sutton didn’t directly answer.
"You know that’s not what I ant," Watt corrected her.
"Then what do you an?" Sumr Sutton feigned ignorance.
Indeed, if it’s not that, what else could it be?
Watt couldn’t figure out what else Sumr Sutton could be doing.
Stiffly standing in place, he said no more.
"I’m off then." Sumr Sutton shut the car door and slowly started the car.
She drove quickly, heading straight to Morning Garden.
The flight was the next morning, and Sumr Sutton wanted to depart from Morning Garden directly, ensuring Watt wouldn’t suspect the purpose of her trip.
