The small truck, after realizing she was out of control, tried to avoid her but turned the steering wheel in the wrong direction.
The truck, veering off its normal path, crashed towards Sumr Sutton who was standing by the roadside.
Everything happened too suddenly; Sumr Sutton didn’t even notice when this vehicle appeared beside her.
Her body was struck and flung, landing heavily in the snow, and after that, she quickly lost consciousness...
Crimson blood flowed all over the ground.
The truck driver was frightened and didn’t dare to look at her, driving away in a panic and fleeing the scene.
Gina Sutton’s car also drove off quickly.
The place where Sumr Sutton was waiting for a car was very remote, with no surveillance caras installed, and not a single vehicle passed by for a long ti.
Beep beep beep!
The phone that had fallen to the ground kept flashing, displaying the caller’s na: Adrian Walyon.
The phone rang for a long, long ti, yet she did not answer, and Adrian Walyon dialed several more tis.
...
Standing in front of the living room’s floor-to-ceiling window, quietly staring at the call records on the phone, Adrian Walyon felt inexplicably restless.
Thinking that Sumr Sutton was dining out with her studio friends again, he waited for her for about ten more minutes before calling her again.
Still no answer, Adrian Walyon’s eyes darkened.
Since marrying him, Sumr Sutton had never co ho past ten o’clock.
Last night she had already upset him by not answering his call; even if she’s fearless, she shouldn’t have the courage to offend him twice in a row, right?
Adrian Walyon sensed sothing was wrong, grabbed his phone, and ran out of the villa in large strides.
He drove his car in a hurry, heading towards Ariella Sawyer’s studio.
After speeding for more than ten minutes, he arrived, and when he found Sumr Sutton near the studio, Adrian Walyon’s eyes reddened.
She lay quietly on the frost-covered sidewalk, on an empty, deserted street, with a large pool of blood staining the snow around her.
The shocking red pierced Adrian Walyon’s eyes.
She lay there so quietly, as if she would never wake up.
No one knew how long she had been lying there, during which ti no one even noticed...
Adrian Walyon stiffly approached her, bent down, checked her breath, and then scooped her up and hurriedly took her to the car.
Finding the nearest hospital to the studio, he rushed her to the ergency room, pacing outside with a cold face and sharp gaze.
Ariella Sawyer also rushed over when she got the news.
"How could this happen? When she left last night everything was fine, how did this happen so suddenly?" She asked many questions in a row, but Adrian Walyon didn’t respond.
He hadn’t spoken a word since his arrival, just silently waiting outside the door, clenching his phone tightly in his hand.
Ariella Sawyer cautiously glanced at him, noticing his unpleasant expression, and quietly held her tongue.
She felt she was only in the way by waiting here, unable to help, and might only make Adrian Walyon more annoyed.
"I’ll head back first. Let know when Sumr wakes up, and please take care of her for ." Leaving these words, she sensibly departed.
Adrian Walyon continued to stand alone outside the ergency room, waiting.
From ti to ti, he lifted his wrist to check the ti on his watch.
Sumr Sutton had been inside for three hours, and although doctors ca in and out several tis, the response was always that they were doing their best to save her.
Deep in the night, it was 2 a.m.
The light in the ergency room was still on.
Finally, around 5 o’clock, the door was pushed open.
"The young lady’s will to survive is strong; fortunately, fortunately," the doctor said with relief, wheeling Sumr Sutton into a patient room.
