Adrian Walyon sat by the hospital bed accompanying her, thinking about the scene when he found her and the doctor’s recent words, his gaze beca sharp again.
The doctor ant that Sumr Sutton almost didn’t make it, relying solely on her instinct to survive.
Sumr Sutton slept very deeply, for two days and nights.
On the third day, as dawn spilled in from the window, she opened her eyes and saw Adrian Walyon by the bedside, freezing for a mont in surprise.
Did he find her?
Adrian seed sowhat fatigued, his face was full of weariness, with heavy bags under his eyes.

"Doesn’t the family have servants? Let them co instead," she said.
Adrian ignored her words and instead asked coldly, "How did this happen?"
Sumr thought for a mont, then said, "A truck lost control."
"License plate number?" Adrian asked again.
Sumr shook her head, "It happened too suddenly, I didn’t see it."
Adrian rubbed his temples with his fingertips continuously, "Male or female driver?"
"Male," Sumr replied.
Adrian pondered her words slowly, asking no more questions.
"Feeling any better now?" his gaze shifted to her bandaged head as he asked.
"It hurts a lot," Sumr reported truthfully.
Adrian’s gaze was deep, staring at her for a long while, seemingly a bit helpless.
This was probably one of the few things he couldn’t do.
The pain on her body, even if he wanted to, he couldn’t help her bear it.
Adrian remained silent for a long while, with a stern face he reminded, "Don’t let see you hurt again in the future!"
"..." Sumr was speechless.
Such a thing wasn’t sothing she could control.
Her gaze fell on him, up and down, as she tentatively asked, "Have you not rested for a long ti?"
The answer she received was another fierce look from Adrian.
Sumr pursed her lips, obediently quieting down without asking more.
Uncovering her own quilt, she made a small space for him, "Do you want to sleep for a bit?"
This was a hospital, and for a mont she didn’t consider much.
Adrian, moreover, wouldn’t mind.
If she wasn’t bothered, what was there for him to be concerned about?
"I’ll have the family servant bring food over later." He lay down with his tall body, instructing, then pulled her into his arms, holding her, inhaling her pleasant Blue Bell scent, and after two days and three nights since the incident, closed his eyes for the first ti.
Adrian slept for several hours, not waking up.
Sumr lay beside him, quietly staring at him.
His brow furrowed tightly, she didn’t know what he was dreaming of, even when asleep he seed sowhat uneasy.
Sumr kept staring at him, her hand couldn’t help but reach up to his face, her fingertips gently tracing his brows and eyes.
Knowing Adrian for nearly half a year, it seed she hadn’t seen him this exhausted.

The two just lay quietly in bed, one deeply asleep, the other’s head was heavily swollen after sleeping too long, kept watching without stop.
Adrian woke up at eight in the evening.
He had slept nearly twelve hours.
Seeing her still staring at him in scrutiny, he paused in surprise, his eyes suddenly deepened.
His long arm wrapped around her neck, supporting the back of her head, he pressed her to lean toward him, his slightly cool lips suddenly kissed her...
