Sumr Sutton stood awkwardly on the ground, watching him slowly climb up the ladder, her mouth twitching slightly.
Adrian Walyon worked much more efficiently than she did.
In less than ten minutes, he had arranged all of the remaining little lanterns.
Then the two of them decorated with so other items together, like paper cuts and bell ornants.
With all the things Sumr Sutton bought fully decorated, the whole house was filled with a warm red, making the villa much cozier than usual.
Sumr Sutton looked at her handiwork and felt a great sense of accomplishnt.
New Year should always have a festive atmosphere; how could it still be called ho when it’s still cold and barren during the holidays?
"By the way, I’m about to go on winter break too. In a few days, I plan to go with Ariella Sawyer to a city down south for a few days. Ariella is filming over there, and her other assistant is on leave these days," Sumr said as they returned to the room.
"A few days?" Adrian Walyon focused only on that point.
He didn’t care what she was going to do; he was only concerned about those few days when he would have to sleep alone every night.
Sumr Sutton understood what he ant by this, glanced at him sidelong, feeling a bit embarrassed, "A few days isn’t long, taking a break and recharging, isn’t that good?"
She spoke evasively since discussing such things with him was embarrassing for her.
"Stamina is sothing you think I need to recharge?" Adrian Walyon chuckled coldly.
Sumr Sutton was dumbfounded.
He indeed didn’t need to; ever since moving into this villa, she always knew his vigor was overwhelming.
But she needed it!
Unlike him, she found it crazy to stay up all night endlessly and still be energetic the next day.
Sumr Sutton felt their discussion was pointless and glossed over his question.
"Anyway, a few days will pass quickly. Once the matter over there is resolved, I’ll be back." Without caring whether Adrian agreed or not, she headed up the stairs ahead of him, holding her head down.
Adrian Walyon followed her upstairs, his face dark and displeased.
Sumr Sutton dared not look at him, and she faced away from him while sleeping to avoid his gaze.
...
Adrian Walyon was clearly unwilling for her to take the trip, but a few days later, Sumr Sutton still went to the south with Ariella Sawyer.
In Ariella’s current film, Lorraine Hughes also had a role.
Lorraine was the lead actress, while Ariella wasn’t even supporting role two or three, her scenes rely an interlude in the drama.
Sumr Sutton stood quietly on the side, watching Ariella Sawyer film, a slight smile on her lips.
Ariella Sawyer’s face was very distinct, unlike the typical sharp-chinned female celebrities; her features were exquisite, with a hint of boldness, a rare quality among actresses.
There was never a shortage of beautiful faces in the film industry, but what was lacking were distinct features, a unique aura, and acting skills.
And Ariella conveniently possessed all of those.
Sumr Sutton had a premonition that Ariella Sawyer would definitely beco very popular in the future!
What she currently lacked was just opportunity and experience.
After arriving in the south, Sumr Sutton accompanied Ariella Sawyer on set during the day and returned to the hotel at night, making sure to have a call with Adrian Walyon before bed every night.
This was Adrian Walyon’s request; in reality, they hadn’t reached the point of having nothing left unsaid between them, and Adrian wasn’t a talkative person.
Generally, on these calls, it was Sumr Sutton who did most of the talking.
Yet she still followed his instructions and called him every day.
Sumr Sutton understood the purpose behind his request.
She was out there alone, and without updates about her, not knowing what she was doing, he would probably worry, right?
