"I saw Lorraine Hughes on the set today! She’s so beautiful in person, the type that any man would like." As soon as the call connected, Sumr Sutton shared her experiences on the set with him.
"Who concluded that she’s any man’s type?" Adrian Walyon retorted disdainfully.
"I said it." Sumr Sutton quickly changed the topic, "Never mind about that, lots and lots of people like her. Also, Ariella Sawyer introduced to a friend today, the assistant director on set, and I learned a lot of new things from that person."
"As long as you had fun." Adrian Walyon’s voice was indifferent.
Sumr Sutton talked to him about many things, mostly work-related.
Adrian Walyon just listened quietly, and when she was done talking, he suddenly asked, "Miss ?"
Sumr Sutton, "..."
Sumr Sutton was stunned by his words for quite a while, unsure how to respond for the mont.
This was her first ti joining a film crew, and she was so curious about everything that she hardly had ti to miss him.
"Want to co back sooner?" Adrian Walyon asked again.
"There’s a lot to do here; Ariella has only as her assistant." Sumr Sutton explained.
There was a mont of silence on Adrian Walyon’s end, seemingly unsatisfied with her answer.
For several days, Sumr Sutton had talked to him only about work on their calls, with nothing he actually wanted to hear.
Sumr Sutton sensed a hint of his displeasure and held her phone cautiously, waiting for him to get angry. Unexpectedly, Adrian Walyon broke the silence and simply said, "Wait there, I’ll co over tomorrow!"
It had always been like this between them. Before they got married, he once went back to the Walyon Family mansion for a night and told her to wait for him at the villa, but Sumr Sutton fled to River City.
When he wanted to see her but couldn’t, he went looking for her himself.
This ti was no different.
She was busy and couldn’t leave, so he decided to go to her instead.
Sumr Sutton was dumbfounded for quite a while, unable to process his words imdiately.
The city she was in was a four-hour flight from Northtown; such a long distance, and he would just co like that?
Sumr Sutton wasn’t sure if Adrian Walyon’s words were just a spur-of-the-mont idea or sothing he had seriously thought about.
The next day, she still went to the set as usual and was busy all day.
After finishing in the evening, as she was about to head back to the hotel with Ariella and a staff mber, she was surprised to find him standing at the hotel entrance.
It was 11:30 PM.
He hadn’t even booked a room yet; he was just there outside, waiting for her.
"Sumr, your boyfriend’s here!" Ariella Sawyer noticed Adrian Walyon and pointed out.
"Other people’s boyfriends are the best. Sumr’s only been here for three days, and her boyfriend can’t stand being apart and rushed over." The studio staff couldn’t help but comnt.
Adrian Walyon ignored what the two said, only turning his gaze toward Sumr Sutton.
His expression was visibly tense, clearly displeased with the "boyfriend" term used by Ariella and the staff.
His eyes were practically telling Sumr Sutton to take care of it herself.
Afraid that he might make her unable to sleep once they returned to their room, Sumr Sutton explained softly, "Husband."
Ariella and the staff were shocked for quite a while, exclaiming simultaneously, "Oh my God! You’re actually married!"
Still in college, just twenty, not out in the world yet, and already living the dream with such a handso husband who treats her so well!
Adrian Walyon disregarded the two, walked straight over to Sumr Sutton, and pulled her toward the elevator, "Which floor is the room on?"
