She knew that the only person who would bring the towel was Ryan Walyon.
"Sister has always carried Jimmy Evans’ towel with her!" Gina Sutton mocked deliberately, dragging her tone.
She said this purely to stir trouble.
Adrian Walyon was already angry, and Gina Sutton wanted to add fuel to the fire to make his anger burn even hotter.
Adrian Walyon turned his face away coldly, his eyes like icy cold pools, glaring at her without giving her any respect, "What’s it got to do with you?"
Gina Sutton was speechless, her face flushed bright red, and yet she didn’t know how to respond.
Indeed, whether it’s about Sumr Sutton or Ryan Walyon, it has really nothing to do with her.
"Mind your own business first! Don’t provoke ; if you do, I won’t care whether you’re pregnant or not, just roll back to where you ca from!" Adrian Walyon warned her harshly, maintaining a stern face as he walked out of the Walyon Family.
Gina Sutton stood stiffly where she was, her body trembling uncontrollably.
It was Sumr Sutton who had an unclear relationship with Ryan Walyon; the evidence was there!
That towel wasn’t placed in her bag by anyone else, and still, he’s defending her?
...
Sumr Sutton was sowhat preoccupied in class today, frequently thinking about Adrian Walyon’s face when she left in the morning.
How should she explain to him?
She truly forgot to return Ryan Walyon’s item, and when she rembered, she didn’t see him around.
It’s been in her bag for days now, and it’s really hard to explain.
After a day of classes at school, when she returned in the afternoon, Adrian Walyon hadn’t co back yet.
Sumr Sutton went alone to Jimmy Evans’ villa, pushed open the door to go inside, placed the towel in the living room, quietly closed the door, and went back to the main house.
In the garden, she ran into Gina Sutton.
"Coming out from Jimmy Evans’ place?" Gina Sutton glanced in the direction behind her and asked.
"It’s none of your business!" Sumr Sutton ignored her, walked past her.
After walking a couple of steps, she stopped abruptly, turned her head to stare at her for a mont.
"I’ll personally explain my situation to Adrian Walyon. Don’t try to ddle in between. Since it’s already hard to join the Walyon Family, I advise you to behave! Do you know what grandpa values the most?"
"..." Gina Sutton was stunned.
She truly didn’t know.
"It’s the family’s peace!" Sumr Sutton enunciated slowly, continuing to remind, "With your hidden agendas every day, disrupting the ho’s peace, if grandpa no longer stands by your side at that point, how long do you think you can stay in this house?"
Gina Sutton was shaken by her, staring at her dumbfoundedly, speechless for quite a while.
Sumr Sutton withdrew her gaze, continued walking with a blank expression.
When she returned to the main house, Adrian Walyon still hadn’t co back.
Sumr Sutton didn’t eat dinner with the family, planning to wait for him to co back before eating.
Little did she know, she’d be waiting until late at night.
At twelve o’clock, Adrian Walyon still hadn’t returned.
Judging by the looks of it, he didn’t seem to intend to co back tonight.
Sumr Sutton was helpless, she had to go to bed first.
She went to the bathroom for a shower, lifted the bed sheet prepared to sleep, and her eyes were unexpectedly drawn to the jewelry box by the bedside.
Sumr Sutton picked it up, opened the box, and quietly stared at the necklace inside.
It was a beautiful necklace, with a pear-shaped pendant adorned with more than thirty graduated-sized eralds, shimring and dazzling under the light.
Sumr Sutton wasn’t well-versed in jewelry, but she could recognize eralds.
She also knew the value.
A necklace with this many gemstones would easily be worth billions.
