She didn’t know the deeper aning of the necklace, she only knew that it was prepared for her by him.

After losing herself staring at the necklace for a long ti, she put it back in the jewelry box, opened the drawer, and carefully stored away the necklace.
Tonight, Adrian Walyon didn’t return.
Sumr Sutton slept alone in their room for the night and woke up very early the next day.
At seven, right after getting up, she called Adrian Walyon.
However, the connection tone beeped several tis, yet it wasn’t picked up.
Sumr Sutton was a bit stunned, staring distractedly at the phone screen, she sent him a ssage.

After sending the ssage, she squeezed her phone tightly, feeling a bit anxious.
Would he reply to her?
Sitting at the dining table, without eating, Sumr Sutton just stared at her phone like that.
Hoping to hear the notification sound, yet after waiting for a whole hour, the phone didn’t make any noise.
By eight, when Adrian Walyon would usually be up, it was impossible for him not to have seen Sumr Sutton’s ssage.
The only possibility was that he saw it but didn’t reply.
Sumr Sutton felt an indescribable sense of loss, helplessly finished her breakfast, and went to school.

She finished classes quite early today, after completing the morning classes, she went to Adrian Walyon’s company.
Wanting to have lunch with him, only to be told that he had gone out and wouldn’t be back during the day.
Sumr Sutton waited at the company all afternoon, didn’t wait for him to return, and could only leave.
Adrian Walyon didn’t return to the Walyon Family mansion yesterday, without him, that ho held no aning to Sumr Sutton.
After leaving the company, instead of returning to the Walyon Family, Sumr Sutton took a taxi to Sutton Gardens first, didn’t find anyone, and then went to Morning Garden.
The living room of Morning Garden was slightly ssy, with a thin blanket casually thrown on the sofa, scattered around, evidently indicating Adrian Walyon had stayed here last night.
Having stayed here yesterday, Sumr Sutton thought he should still return today.
After tidying up the room a bit, she went to a nearby supermarket to buy so groceries and started to prepare dinner in the kitchen.
By the ti everything was ready, it was seven o’clock.
Four dishes and one soup, a dinner for two people, just perfect.
A few minutes past seven, the villa’s door was pushed open, and Adrian Walyon’s footsteps ca from the garden.
Upon entering, slling the scent of food, his eyes swept towards the dining room and he saw her there, montarily stunned.
"You’re back!" Sumr Sutton smiled lightly, greeting him first.
Adrian Walyon was still in a daze, seemingly not expecting her to find this place.
"I’ve already prepared dinner." Sumr Sutton served a bowl of soup and placed it in front of the seat he usually occupied.
Adrian Walyon walked over expressionlessly, sat down, and quietly ate his al, without speaking.
Sumr Sutton looked at him, deliberated her words, and tried to explain, "About the towel, that day Jimmy Evans handed it to casually, after I dirtied it, I forgot to return it."
Adrian Walyon lightly lowered his face, continuing to eat in silence without saying a word.
Sumr Sutton for a mont didn’t know if he believed it or not.
Stirring the spoon in her hand, she changed the topic, "I really like the necklace."
Adrian Walyon still didn’t make any sound.
Sumr Sutton glanced at him, suddenly got up and kissed him directly on the lips...
