The two dolls were placed together, looking at each other, and the scene actually had a hint of sweetness.
Adrian Walyon stared at the doll she made for quite a while, his eyebrows gently lifted.
"Did you go out tonight just to work on this?"
Sumr Sutton didn’t answer him and continued fiddling with the doll in her hand.
She was contemplating where in the room it would look best: the desk, the windowsill, or the bedside table.
Adrian walked over, picked up her doll, and looked at it. He scrutinized the sweetly smiling doll for a good while, and even though Sumr hadn’t said it was for him, he grasped it tightly, claiming it as his own, "I’ll keep this one; it’s made quite well."
The other one, made in his likeness, he casually placed in Sumr’s palm, "Keep it safe, don’t lose it!"
Not caring whether she wanted it or not, he clenched her hand and turned to continue examining the one in his hand.
The more he looked at it, the more he liked it.
The more he looked, the better his mood beca.
It had to be said, it really resembled Sumr Sutton quite a bit.
Though this woman often acts silly, her craftsmanship is really good.
Adrian had a slight smile on his lips the entire evening, clearly in a good mood.
The next day, he did sothing that surprised Sumr Sutton.
He placed the small trinket doll Sumr crafted in her likeness on his car’s dashboard!
Every ti he drove, he’d just have to look ahead to see the cartoon version of her.
When driving Sumr to school, she stared at the doll on the dashboard for a while, visibly surprised.
Adrian did not explain, but after dropping her off at school, he reminded her, "Co ho early tonight. If you’re going to be late, call ahead of ti so I don’t worry."
"Okay." Sumr nodded.
After that, they parted ways, one headed to the company, the other to the school building.
As sumr vacation approached, Sumr Sutton had many exams recently. After arriving at school, she was busy with classes all day. In the evening, instead of going ho imdiately, she returned to the dormitory, planning to study for a while before heading back.
On the way up, she ran into Gina Sutton.
Gina stood at the bottom of the stairs, silently watching her back, all the new and old grievances in her heart surged up her chest, wishing she could push her down the stairs.
If only she were dead, all problems would be easier to solve!
As long as Sumr remained in the Walyon Family, there would never be a place for her!
The more Gina thought about it, the more she hated it, her fingertips pressing deeply into her palm as she slowly approached Sumr Sutton.
"Sister!" She called out affectionately, intending to grab her wrist from behind, but Sumr reacted quickly, stepping back several steps before Gina could reach her.
Keeping a distance of one or two ters between them, Sumr was clearly very wary of Gina.
"If you have sothing to say, say it. My mom only gave birth to one of !" Who was her sister?
Gina’s extended hand was left hanging awkwardly in mid-air.
"If there’s nothing else, I’m going up." Sumr turned her head, finding it unnecessary to talk to her further.
She continued up the stairs.
Gina stood rigidly in place, biting her teeth hard.
Sumr didn’t look back from beginning to end and went straight to her dormitory after going upstairs.
She spent a long ti in her dorm, engrossed in her books, forgetting to eat dinner or call Adrian.
Seeing that it was already after eleven, she picked up her phone to check the ti, her heart skipped a beat.
