She forgot about Adrian Walyon again...
What made her even more flustered was the missed calls on her phone, four or five of them, all from Adrian Walyon.
Sumr Sutton had turned off her phone’s volu to study quietly, so she didn’t hear Adrian Walyon’s calls at all.
"Sumr, are you staying at school tonight? We haven’t slept together for so long, I have so much to chat with you about!" Zoe Baxter ca out of the bathroom, wrapped her arm around Sumr’s, and said with a grin.
"Baxter, next ti, I have sothing to do, I need to go back first!" Sumr Sutton was panicking inside, afraid that Adrian Walyon was waiting too anxiously, and he might be looking for her right now. Sumr Sutton held her books and ran out of the dormitory.
Just as she walked out of the dormitory building, a tall figure suddenly appeared in the night.
Adrian Walyon stood under a camphor tree, the night was too dark for Sumr Sutton to see his facial expression clearly.
But she could feel the chill emanating from him.
A distance of at least ten ters between them, yet the cold air from him still made Sumr Sutton shiver down her spine.
"What did I say when I left this morning?" Adrian asked coldly, walking towards her step by step.
He was clearly upset.
A woman, especially one as beautiful as she was, hadn’t returned ho past eleven at night, didn’t answer her phone, or say what happened to her, how could he not be worried?
Sumr Sutton wasn’t new to getting into accidents; she had been in several!
Adrian Walyon’s worry was not without any reason.
His temper was quite high, and as he ca to her side, he began a barrage, "Sumr Sutton, what did you take my words for?"
Before he could dive into it, Sumr Sutton suddenly took a step forward, rose on her tiptoes, wrapped her arms around his neck, and firmly planted her lips on his.
Her kiss carried a clear sense of placation, carefully delivered.
She kissed while observing his reaction.
"Don’t use this tactic every ti!" Adrian Walyon’s tone was still cold, but his facial expression softened significantly.
Sumr Sutton knew her strategy was rather clumsy, but clearly, it worked on him, didn’t it?
By now, Sumr Sutton had more or less figured Adrian Walyon out.
This man wasn’t as frightening as he seed.
His temper could be daunting, but he was easy to appease.
He didn’t really expect much from her, and an occasional initiative on Sumr Sutton’s part could calm his anger entirely.
Such was Adrian Walyon, leaving Sumr Sutton with mixed feelings.
Sumr Sutton looked up at him, watching him repeatedly, seeing the significant softening in his expression, feeling warmth in her heart.
Her arms were still wrapped around Adrian Walyon’s neck, as they stood together in the night, looking extrely affectionate.
Adrian Walyon seed to be at a loss with her.
"If this happens again, believe , I’ll make sure you won’t be going out anymore?" he gave her a sharp glance and grabbed her hand, leading her out of the campus.
"I was just studying for an exam, turned my phone to silent, and was so focused on reading that I forgot about everything." Sumr Sutton obediently followed him, trying to explain as they walked.
Adrian Walyon paused, stopped in his tracks, glanced sideways at her, "Have you eaten dinner?"
"No," Sumr Sutton shook her head.
Adrian Walyon’s chiseled face tensed slightly.
Breathing deeply, he continued to pull her towards the school gates.
They didn’t head ho imdiately, but instead, Adrian Walyon found a place to park near the school and took her to a restaurant.
