Her eyes were red, and nestled in Adrian Walyon’s embrace at this mont, her mind was racing with thoughts.
She had struggled, but now that he had co for her, there was no escaping, so she might as well continue like this.
With him by her side, whom did she have to fear?
Adrian Walyon lifted his hand, gently stroking her back, comforting her, "It’s okay, there’s nothing to worry about. Am I not here? Don’t overthink things, everything will be resolved."
"Mm!" Sumr Sutton nodded lightly.
After the events of the past few days, both of them were exhausted.
They took a bath at a small hotel, and Adrian Walyon held Sumr Sutton as they settled for the night on a narrow little bed.
The matter with Gina Sutton was unresolved, and the next morning after waking up, Adrian Walyon didn’t delay and imdiately took Sumr Sutton back to Northtown.
After returning, he didn’t greet anyone in the Walyon Family, wanting to avoid any disturbances, nor did he go back to Sutton Gardens or Morning Garden; instead, he bought a new apartnt.
It was purchased specifically for Sumr Sutton, not large, about a hundred square ters, just right for a little ho for the two of them.
Its location was between Sumr Sutton’s school and her part-ti company, convenient for her to get anywhere.
No one in the Walyon Family knew the location of the new ho, so there was no fear of unwelco guests.
After moving in, the two of them tidied up the apartnt together.
After a busy day, they prepared a simple dinner, and Sumr Sutton suddenly thought of Gina Sutton.
She didn’t know if Gina Sutton had woken up.
The specifics of the current situation were still unknown to her.
Sumr Sutton wasn’t concerned about Gina Sutton’s life or death, but now her own fate was entwined with Gina Sutton’s, and Sumr Sutton was waiting for her to wake up to start the investigation.
She couldn’t bear the grave accusation of murder.
A baseless cri pinned on her head, she couldn’t stand for it.
She must find a way to prove her innocence!
Looking at Adrian Walyon sitting across from her, Sumr Sutton sought his help, "Adrian, I want to know if Gina Sutton has woken up."
Adrian Walyon understood what she was concerned about and didn’t ask more, nodding, "I’ll have soone check the hospital!"
Standing up, he moved to the side to make a phone call.
The first call he made to soone on his side yielded the response that Gina Sutton was still in a coma.
After ten o’clock at night, as they were preparing to sleep, the hospital suddenly called.
"Young Master Walyon, Miss Sutton has woken up, she is out of danger!"
"Got it, continue the surveillance." Adrian Walyon dropped the line and hung up the phone.
...
Hospital.
Gina Sutton had been in a state of unconsciousness for several days after the incident.
When she opened her eyes, the lights in the hospital room were sowhat glaring, making her eyes sting a little.
There were a lot of people in the hospital room; it seed like they had been there the whole ti over these days.
As soon as she opened her eyes, Betty Chapman threw herself on her, hugging her and crying, "Gina, my daughter, you’re finally awake! You worried your mother to death! If you didn’t wake up, your mom was planning to follow you!"
"Alright, alright, mom, I’m okay now, right?"
In the hospital room, the mother and daughter showcased their deep bond.
Ryan Walyon was also standing nearby, forced to co by the Old Master.
He didn’t care about Gina Sutton’s life or death; being here was purely to placate the old man.
Bothered by the noisy pair of mother and daughter, he walked out of the hospital room to get so air.
Betty Chapman continued to hold Gina Sutton, still sobbing incessantly.
She cried her heart out, her face full of tears and snot, and in between sobs, she brought up Sumr Sutton again.
