The director didn’t give her a hard ti, he shook his head and walked away in distress.
The film crew Sumr Sutton is in really ran out of funds, mainly because the investor who initially agreed, withdrew the funds halfway through.
Ryan Walyon agreed to invest, but considering the need for a significant amount of money for post-production, the director decided to reserve Ryan Walyon’s funds for that, not to be touched during filming.
As a poor film crew, that night after Sumr Sutton returned to the hotel, the director decided to change the hotel originally booked, in order to save on shooting expenses.
From an ordinary hotel, it switched to a cheap one.
Cheap is fine!
Both Sumr Sutton and Ariella Sawyer are used to hardships and don’t mind it.
After switching hotels, they still sleep soundly.
But surprisingly, the next day the director scaled down the new set as well, making it very rudintary.
What’s worse, it rained in the small town on the day of filming.
Due to poor quality of the hardware of the new set, it started leaking imdiately when it rained.
During filming, rainwater pattered down from above, ruining all the sets.
Sumr Sutton got soaked during the shoot.
The director took the opportunity to complain to Sumr Sutton, "Little Sutton, you see, our crew is in this state, can’t you help out? Letting Young Master Walyon invest won’t cause him to lose money, besides, our production is so refined, the returns will surely be high!"
Sumr Sutton was sowhat fed up with him.

Sumr Sutton tidied her soaked clothes and walked out of the set.
She was originally planning to find Adrian, but he ca over before she even started to look.
Upon arriving, seeing the leaks everywhere and everyone soaked like drowned rats, he was taken aback.

Sumr Sutton glanced at him, didn’t imdiately start discussing business, but planned to let him experience the on-site environnt first.
Perhaps after experiencing it, the wealthy might not be able to stand it anymore and generously invest big bucks?
She just stood next to Adrian without speaking.
It was raining on set, and Adrian didn’t bring an umbrella.
Sumr Sutton didn’t bring one either.
The two squeezed under a shelter like this, standing for less than ten minutes, the water pattering down from above soaked Adrian’s originally clean clothes completely.
Adrian stiffly looked at his dirty clothes, his expression sowhat dark.
"No worries, a bit of wind will dry it soon." Sumr Sutton tapped the water droplets off his shoulder, nonchalantly said.
Adrian’s face, already dark, beca even more unpleasant now.
"Get out and change your clothes already!" Seeing her equally drenched, he barked at her rudely.
Adrian was actually worried she’d catch a cold.
It’s just that, having been annoyed by Sumr Sutton multiple tis these days, his tone was hard to be good.
Sumr Sutton felt he had beco much more irritable in the past year.
Not daring to argue, she rubbed her nose and headed towards the hotel.
As soon as she left, Adrian imdiately followed her.
On their way, Adrian’s face was too dark to look at.
