"Stopping Sumr from returning to this family will prevent conflict between Ryan and ? As long as Ryan doesn’t resolve his feelings for her, our disagreents will persist, regardless of whether she’s with the Walyon Family or not! Why can’t Grandpa understand?"
"Now Grandpa is making her disappear, tearing at my heart and flesh! Without her, I’m just a walking corpse!"
Adrian said a lot in succession, his voice nearly hoarse from shouting.
Old Master Walyon had watched him grow up and had never seen him so distraught.
Adrian wasn’t in the mood to talk much. His only concern now was Sumr Sutton’s safety.
He stared at the old man for a while, noticing he kept his eyes closed, showing no intention of revealing Sumr Sutton’s whereabouts. Adrian turned away in pain.
"As long as Sumr doesn’t return, I will never set foot in this house again!" He left these words and strode out of the villa.
Just as his figure was about to disappear in the garden, a hoarse voice ca from behind, "Adrian, I didn’t have anyone take her."
Adrian’s back stiffened slightly, his face slowly turning.
The old man leaned against the banister, clutching his chest as if in pain.
Adrian watched him for a long mont, silently pondering the truth in his words.
The Old Master’s character was such that he never feared owning up to his actions, and naturally, had no need to lie to Adrian.
As Adrian continued to gaze at him, despair sank deep into his heart.
He trusted his grandfather’s words.
If it wasn’t Grandpa, then who could it be?
Adrian’s head felt like it was about to explode from overthinking.
He had thought that if Grandpa were behind it, at least he wouldn’t have to worry too much about Sumr Sutton’s safety.
He believed that even if Grandpa were harsh, he wouldn’t let Sumr Sutton vanish from the world forever.
But now that it wasn’t Grandpa, Sumr Sutton’s safety was entirely uncertain...
Sprinting out of the Walyon Family’s gates and into his car, Adrian made a series of calls to his n.
"Find out where the car with license plate number Beixxxxxx is right now."
...
Old Master Walyon’s head was throbbing severely tonight. After Adrian left, he almost collapsed to the ground, unable to support his body.
The family doctor arrived, prescribed so dication, and advised him to rest early.
The old man waved his hand and instructed Paul Walyon, who stood in the room, "Arrange for people to help Adrian find her. No matter what, she must be found."
Paul nodded and then left the room.
Diana Wood stood silently by the side, quietly watching him, feeling particularly uneasy.
"Dad, why did you do this?"
Old Master Walyon closed his eyes in pain, and after a long ti, uttered, "Didn’t you see how mad he looked tonight? He’s my own grandson; how could I stand by and watch him beco a living corpse?"
In the end, a grandfather still loves his grandson.
Adrian’s breakdown tonight pierced the old man’s heart...
"Just stay out of it unless necessary!" The old man glanced at Diana Wood, reminding her.
Diana couldn’t help but sigh, "I understand."
...
Adrian’s n searched for over an hour, finally locating Sumr Sutton’s car on the road by the seaside.
The car was parked quietly, but there wasn’t a trace of a person.
One of the searchers cautiously suggested, "Could the Young Madam be in the sea?"
His voice was low, afraid of provoking Adrian.
But now, with the car by the sea and no sign of her, there really seed no other possibility but the sea.
