Sumr Sutton’s long eyelashes lightly trembled, and at his words, she slowly opened her eyelids.
Their gazes collided, and her eyes seed a bit dazed as she looked at him.
Seeing her like this made Adrian Walyon’s heart tighten with pain. He didn’t ask anything about the child and leaned down to hold her tightly.
"I’m late..." His arms encircled her with force, and Adrian’s voice was slightly choked with emotion.
Sumr’s body stiffened slightly in his embrace, her hands searching his body until her fingertips touched his palm, feeling the coldness there, her heart clenched.

"What?" Adrian’s body stiffened, and after her words, he was stunned for a long mont, as if he hadn’t heard her clearly.

Adrian stared fixedly at her, his gaze swept inch by inch over her face, as if questioning her words for a mont, then he ca back to his senses and held her tight again.
He squeezed her so tight that Sumr could feel the strong beating of his pulse.
Holding her like this, it was a long ti before he finally spoke, "After we return ho, until the child is born, I won’t go on any business trips."
