Lorraine Hughes hadn’t answered when Sophie Walyon interjected, "Doesn’t look young anymore, should seriously find soone to marry, get married early! Find a man to live a stable life, don’t wait until you’re older and your golden years are over; you won’t be as valuable as you are now."
He was indirectly mocking Lorraine Hughes for aging while also suggesting she was worthless apart from her looks.
Lorraine Hughes wasn’t old at all, she was a year younger than Adrian Walyon, only in her early twenties, and didn’t seem old.
However, to Sophie Walyon, who was more than ten years younger, she seed old, so his words didn’t seem wrong to him.
Lorraine Hughes’ face stiffened a bit, looking a little upset.
