His current condition is completely unsuitable for living alone.
But with Sumr Sutton here, it’s different. She can help him with many basic things, at least making it less hard for him.
Sumr Sutton’s eyes sparkled, her face full of anticipation.
However, he doused her in cold water, "Miss Sutton!"
Raising his voice to call her, the man reminded her with an expressionless face, "I don’t know who you’ve mistaken for, but I’m not the person you’re looking for. A young woman moving in so proactively with an adult man, doesn’t Miss Sutton find it inappropriate?"
Sumr Sutton’s expression stalled briefly at his words, her gaze noticeably dimd.
But soon, it brightened up again.
She insisted he was Adrian Walyon, and that’s exactly who he was!
They had been married for so long, Sumr Sutton understood him better than anyone. He could be identified by rely holding his hand, feeling the temperature of his palm, even recognizing the calluses on certain spots, or his back view and physique; Sumr Sutton could confirm he was indeed Adrian Walyon.
"Would you do anything to ?" Instead of answering his question, Sumr Sutton calmly asked in return.
Her question caught the man off guard.
Sumr Sutton squatted in front of him, quietly staring at him.
She suddenly beca very curious about how he would respond.
If he said he wouldn’t, could she rightfully move in?
Since his leg was injured, Sumr Sutton believed that even if he wanted to do sothing, it would be inconvenient.
The man remained silent for a long while after her words, but eventually said, "Every adult man is dangerous. Never trust n too much, no matter what kind."
Sumr Sutton was dumbfounded for a mont, unable to believe what she heard.
Her gaze gradually lowered, lingering on his leg for a long ti.
Imagining the scene of him being injured and yet becoming a beast, she shivered for a mont.
At that mont, her concern wasn’t about losing out, but with his current state, how painful would it be to do such a thing?
"Miss Sutton should leave now!" He reminded her with a cold voice.
Sumr Sutton raised her wrist to check the ti; it wasn’t even seven o’clock yet.
"Isn’t it still early? You’re by yourself at ho usually, you must be quite bored, right? Let keep you company!" Sumr Sutton stood up, walked around the living room, picked up random decorations to look at.
She clearly showed no intention of leaving, touching this and that in the living room, picking things up and putting them down for over half an hour.
After half an hour, she returned to his side, squatted down, and put her hand on his knee, her action was extrely intimate, "Let’s chat for a bit! Being alone all the ti with no one to talk to isn’t good for one’s ntal health."
Her reasoning sounded quite justified, and as she spoke, the corners of her lips slightly curled, her eyes seeming to have starlight in them.
The man’s gaze fell on her eyes, and looking at her clear eyes, his chest felt like it was gently touched by sothing.
Sumr Sutton’s hand slowly moved up along his leg, gently touched his injured spot, her gaze stalled, "It must have hurt a lot when you got injured, right?"
The man allowed her actions, neither pushing her away nor responding to her words.
Sumr Sutton’s hand lingered on his leg for a while, then she lifted her face and suddenly said, "The injury on your leg was from the last plane crash, wasn’t it?"
