Adrian Walyon’s gaze was deep and dark, like a bottomless pool of water, as if it could pull her in.
He just looked at her like that, and she wasn’t sure if he had listened to what she said.
Sumr Sutton quietly observed his reaction, feeling terribly anxious inside.
What she actually ant was that she hadn’t been sleeping enough these past few days because he had been keeping her up.
Adrian narrowed his eyes, staring at her for quite a while before slowly asking, "Very sleepy?"
"Yeah." Sumr nodded.
Adrian should understand what she ant. He was more aware than anyone of how little she had slept the past few nights.
Sumr thought, since he asked her like this, there was hope that she could avoid such a situation tonight.
But then Adrian said, "Shall I finish earlier then?"
"..." Sumr was dumbfounded, unable to believe what she was hearing.
Here we go again?
She was clearly complaining that he was too excessive!
He must be deliberately misunderstanding her, right? Deliberately?
"Adrian, I’m serious." Before he could make his next move, Sumr placed her hand on his chest, putting so distance between them.
However, Adrian paid no heed, pulling her down beneath him.
Tonight, he seed different from usual, and whether it was because of what Sumr had just said or not, he beca much gentler.
This side of him made Sumr accidentally forget to resist.
Sumr was startled by this side of herself.
She must have been possessed to react like this.
Compared to tonight, she’d rather Adrian be a bit rough like he was last night.
Roughness only caused pain, but gentleness was lethal!

The next day, Sumr Sutton got up a bit late, and by the ti she finished washing up and went to have breakfast with the Old Master, it was already nine o’clock.
By the ti she appeared, everyone in the family was already present.
Yesterday was considered her first day in this household, and according to tradition, she was supposed to serve tea to the elders today.
Yet now, she had kept everyone waiting for her!

He said it with an unwavering expression, as if it were entirely true.
Sumr Sutton and he had only known each other for a few months, what relationship could there be?
Sumr was used to his ability to bluff and didn’t expose him.
With her head bowed, she even cooperated with him, "No matter what, it was wrong of to make the uncles and elders wait so long. I’ll be more mindful in the future."
The Old Master’s previously stiff face slightly softened.

The rest of the Walyon family mbers were not difficult to deal with, only Diana Wood hadn’t shown her a friendly face since she arrived.
When Sumr brought the tea to her, Diana didn’t take it for a long ti.
The atmosphere in the hall grew sowhat awkward.
Diana Wood with a stern face, stared at her for quite a while, reminding her, "I hope you understand, your entry into the Walyon family today is because Adrian chose you, not anyone else in the family!"
Diana’s point was that Sumr only had Adrian’s approval, and if Adrian ever beca dissatisfied with her, she might leave this ho at any ti.
However, hearing this, Sumr found it laughable.
She married Adrian, wasn’t it enough that Adrian chose her?
