How could Sumr Sutton understand cat language?
It just suddenly owed, without any specific context, and Sumr had no idea what Unity was trying to express.
Unity seed to sense she didn’t understand, got a bit impatient, and suddenly dashed toward the garden.
Sumr froze for a mont and followed stiffly behind it.
Unity ran out with a clear purpose, heading straight for the tree of longing that Sumr had planted.
It ran circles around the tree several tis, then jumped over the railing and stood outside the garden, unwilling to move.
It seed to want to describe sothing to Sumr, blinking its eyes at her, trying hard to make her understand its aning.
Sumr stared at it, dazed for quite a while, and tentatively asked, "Did Dad co back?"
She was really just speaking off the cuff, and after saying it, she found it absurd herself.
Unexpectedly, Unity seriously nodded.
Sumr was dumbfounded.
She found it so ridiculous. How could a cat understand so many of her words, and even know how to comfort her?
To test it out, Sumr asked again, "Did Dad stand where you’re standing now and look into the villa before?"
Unity seriously nodded its head once more.
Sumr was dumbfounded again.
At this mont, Unity crawled back through the railing and swiftly climbed up the tree of longing.
It nestled on the treetop, playing with the red ribbon above.
Sumr stared at it like this for a while, trying for the third ti, "Did Dad see the red ribbon on the tree?"
Unity once again made a nodding motion.
Sumr was completely dumbfounded by its actions.
Is this cat really that smart?
Did Adrian Walyon really co back?
When did this happen? Why didn’t she know?
Sumr was so distracted by Unity that she even lacked the mood to work.
In the evening, she got off work a bit early.
Returning to the Morning Garden early, she prepared a simple dinner for herself and sat quietly on the sofa, still pondering this matter.
If she hadn’t misunderstood Unity’s aning and Adrian really did co back, was there a possibility he’d co back again?
