While dancing, she pulled Sumr into the dance floor to join her.
Sumr’s mind was nowhere near the activity, and once on the dance floor, she dodged left and right, trying to get out.
As she backed up, she bumped into a young man.
The man turned his head, scanned her face, his eyes revealing undisguised delight.
"Hey, whose girl is this, so pretty," he said, reaching out to Sumr, trying to bring her to the lounge, "Want to have a drink together?"
"Let go!" Sumr coldly snapped, attempting to pull her hand away from his grip.
"What’s the big deal? We’re all friends at a gathering! Can’t give this little face?" The young man ignored her words, insisting on taking her to the lounge.
Sumr, slightly annoyed, not caring about the trouble it might bring her, suddenly lifted her leg and kicked toward the man’s lower body.
The kick was fierce, causing the man to squat down, groaning in pain.
