Sumr Sutton just looked at him without saying a word.
Watt Bennet slightly furrowed his brows.
Sumr Sutton was weighing whether she should hold him and cry, or pretend she knew nothing.
She had so much she wanted to tell him, wanted to tell him that Alexander Winslow had already told her everything, wanted to tell him that no matter how he was, she loved him, wanted to tell him that they would face anything together.
Sumr Sutton struggled for a long ti between speaking and not speaking, contemplating again and again, and finally suppressed all her impulses.
Adrian Walyon, such a proud person, wouldn’t want her to see this side of him.
He might even take all her kindness towards him as pity.
Sumr Sutton felt that since he didn’t want to speak, she would cooperate and act like she knew nothing; maybe that would be better.
"What’s wrong?" Watt Bennet thought there was sothing off about her tonight and tried asking again.
Sumr Sutton stared at him for a long ti, said nothing, crouched in front of him, and wrapped him in a tight hug.
She held him tightly, burying herself in his embrace, and didn’t want to let go.
"I missed you..." Like a little girl acting spoiled, she nuzzled against him endearingly.
Watt Bennet, "..."
"Every night when you’re not here, I miss you," Sumr Sutton slowly added.
Her voice was calm, but it stirred sothing indescribable in Watt Bennet’s heart.
"Sumr..." His lips moved, as if wanting to say sothing, but Sumr Sutton guessed he might be about to ask her to go back, so she cut him off.
"I’ll push you in first!" Supporting the wheelchair, she quietly pushed him into the house, and Sumr Sutton took him to the room.
Watt Bennet’s villa was much more convenient than the previous one; the bedroom was directly on the ground floor, sparing him the trouble of stairs given his mobility issues.
After entering his room, Sumr Sutton grabbed a pillow and sat down on his bed.
"I’ll be staying here from now on!" Ignoring whether he liked it or not, she declared stubbornly.
Watt Bennet, "..."
Watt Bennet had long been accustod to Sumr Sutton’s stubbornness, her thick skin even soone as shaless as him found hard to handle.
"What are you thinking?" Watt Bennet took a deep breath and asked slowly.
"Not thinking much, just want to see you every day when I wake up," Sumr Sutton tossed the pillow aside, making herself at ho, opened Watt Bennet’s closet, found a white T-shirt to use as sleepwear, and then went to the bathroom to freshen up.
Watt Bennet had spare toiletries here, so there was nothing inconvenient about her staying.
Ignoring Watt Bennet’s gaze, Sumr Sutton closed the bathroom door and started showering.
After spending quite a while under the shower, her slender legs flashed before him as she walked out, made the bed, and lay down first.
Patting the spot beside her, she indicated to him, "Aren’t you coming up?"
Watt Bennet seed helpless in front of her, just looking at her without saying a word.
Sumr Sutton didn’t pay him any mind, rolled around on his bed, and wrapped up in the blanket to sleep.
She wore his T-shirt, which always looked inexplicably sexy on her, with long, slender, straight legs exposed to the air, she didn’t need to do anything else; it was already an invitation.
Lying on his bed dressed like that, for Watt Bennet, it was no different from an invitation.
