Sumr Sutton’s mind exploded.
She looked at him in astonishnt, unable to believe what she had heard.
Alexander Winslow sighed, then said a lot more.
He told Sumr Sutton that although Grandpa Winslow liked Watt Bennet, the Winslow Family would not be the ones to break up a marriage.
He also ntioned that Watt Bennet truly loves her dearly, and everyone around him could see that. As long as Sumr Sutton is in any danger, he would forget about his own situation.
Alexander Winslow continued, saying that due to Watt Bennet’s previous injuries, sothing like swimming in the sea was impossible, but he saved Sumr Sutton at that ti. Such a miracle happening can only be explained by a person’s strong will and deep love.
He talked with Sumr Sutton about many things, addressing all of her recent confusions.
By the end, Sumr Sutton was no longer able to pay attention to what he said.
Alexander Winslow hadn’t finished speaking when she pulled away her chair and ran out of the restaurant.
On the nightti streets, Sumr Sutton ran down the road leading to the hospital, her vision blurred ever since she left the restaurant.
Alexander Winslow’s words echoed continuously in her ears, never fading.
There was too much guilt and self-bla in her heart, along with too much distress for him. As Sumr Sutton ran, tears uncontrollably stread down her face.
Occasionally encountering so passersby, probably seeing her odd behavior, a group of people all stared at her.
Sumr Sutton ignored the strange looks from others, wiped her tears, and sped up to rush into the hospital.
She went upstairs directly to Watt Bennet’s hospital room, but upon pushing the door open, she found that Watt Bennet was no longer there.
A nurse happened to pass by, saw her looking disappointed, and kindly reminded her, "Miss, Mr. Bennet just discharged himself, and a young man left with him."
Sumr Sutton’s first reaction was that Marshall Quinn had taken Watt Bennet away.
Without much thought, she turned around and ran out of the hospital, then drove directly to Watt Bennet’s new villa.
When she arrived, it was two in the morning.
Marshall Quinn had just left after bringing Watt Bennet ho.
The villa was brightly lit, and Watt Bennet seed not to have had ti to sleep.
With trembling hands, Sumr Sutton pressed the doorbell outside.
Watt Bennet probably thought Marshall Quinn had returned and wheeled himself out to open the door.
Seeing Sumr Sutton standing there in the middle of the night, her long hair disheveled, makeup sared with tears, looking as pitiful as a ghost, Watt Bennet was montarily stunned.
Sumr Sutton sniffed, wiped her tear-streaked face, and her gaze sparkled as she looked at him.
In this condition, Watt Bennet was taken aback, "What’s wrong? Why are you here this late?"
