Capítulo 1353: Chapter 479: Rebellion
Third Planet·Federation Governnt Administration Building·Dawn Hall.
Farren City Lord sat in the front row, with many council mbers seated behind him, almost filling the entire council chamber.
However, the atmosphere in the vast council chamber was extrely heavy and quiet, with only very hushed conversations audible.
“What’s going on? Why was an ergency eting suddenly called?”
“Don’t you know? Sothing big happened over at the Tidal Star Sea.”
“Wasn’t the battle at the Tidal Star Sea a major victory? The Heavenly Revelation Divine Country’s forces were severely defeated.”
“It was a major victory, but sothing happened afterward.”
….
Just as everyone was whispering among themselves, the doors of the council chamber were pushed open.
Everyone turned their heads to look.
City Lord Alicia walked in, eyes cold, with a hint of anger on her face.
The entire conference hall suddenly quieted down, and no one dared to speak. Even a fool could see that City Lord Alicia was in a terrible mood.
No one wanted to touch a nerve at this critical mont.
Very soon, Alicia made her way to the front row and sat directly next to Farren, though she didn’t seem inclined to converse with him.
Then Gakels erged from the left side door, walked to the center of the podium, and said in a deep voice.
“Everyone is here, the eting officially begins.”
As soon as Gakels finished speaking, Alicia stood up and said coldly.
“I have sothing to say.”
“Alright, go ahead!”
Gakels furrowed his eyebrows and gestured with his hand.
“I am deeply dissatisfied with the Federation’s actions in recent years. Since when did the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country dare to flaunt their power in front of us?”
Upon hearing Alicia’s words, Gakels also furrowed his brow tightly and said in a low voice.
“Alicia, you are well aware of the Federation’s current situation; we have done our best.”
“Whether you have truly done your best or not, you know it well in your heart.”
Alicia gave Gakels no face at all.
“Alicia, can we discuss this matter after the eting ends?”
Gakels suggested to Alicia.
“Alright, let’s postpone this matter for now. I wish to formally make a request to the council now.”
Alicia said seriously.
Upon hearing Alicia’s words, Gakels was imdiately struck by a terrible premonition and quickly asked.
“What do you want to request?”
Farren and the others also looked towards Alicia.
“According to Protocol 6, I request the Federation to lift the ban and return the VI Generation cha·Zero Degree Envoy to Rain Capital!”
Alicia solemnly announced.
With this statent, all the council mbers in the entire chamber were stunned, and the place instantly erupted into chaos.
“Did I hear that correctly? City Lord Alicia is asking to unseal the VI Generation cha?”
…
At this mont, at the edge of the eting seat, Long Ying, upon hearing Alicia’s request to unseal the VI Generation cha based on Protocol 6, showed a faint, almost imperceptible smile.
Once the Rain Capital unseals the VI Generation cha, he will know where his father’s cha is.
It’s important to know that the VI Generation chas of Starlight City, Sky Do City, and Rain Capital are all stored together.
At this ti, when Farren saw that Alicia brought up Protocol 6, he stood up without hesitation and said.
“I agree, I also request the Federation to unseal and return Sky Do City’s VI Generation cha!”
Gakels’ heart imdiately sank to the bottom, and his hands behind his back were slightly trembling.
Before going into seclusion, Dragon String Council President had all the VI Generation chas sealed. To put it nicely, it was for strategic needs, but to put it bluntly, it was feared that Sky Do City and Rain Capital would go out of control with such powerful weapons and not be under the council’s control.
After all, with Dragon String Council President in seclusion, the Dragon Family lost its strongest force, and precautions had to be taken.
Thus, Gakels absolutely could not agree to unseal and return them. He took a deep breath and said.
“Alicia, Farren, listen to , the VI Generation chas were sealed by the Council President. I do not have the authority to unseal them for you.”
“In that case, call the Council President to preside over this.”
Alicia responded bluntly.
“Aren’t you being unreasonable? The Council President is currently recuperating and cannot co out.”
Gakels’ face turned as black as charcoal.
“Then there’s nothing more to say. Either act according to Protocol 6 or bring out the Council President.”
Alicia said emphatically.
“That’s right!”
Farren chid in with Alicia.
He had long wanted to reclaim his own VI Generation cha.
Gakels was montarily speechless. This was troubling; once again, the matter revolved back to the Council President.
Just as Gakels was at a loss, the tightly closed doors of the council chamber were opened.
Alicia and the others turned their heads, eyes fixed on the open door.
In the spotlight of everyone’s gaze, Long Bai walked in and slowly made his way to the podium.
Alicia and Farren furrowed their brows upon seeing Long Bai enter; they hadn’t anticipated that Long Bai would co. It seed like their proposal might be in jeopardy today.
Very soon, Long Bai ascended to the podium, and Gakels respectfully stepped aside, giving way to her on the stage.
Long Bai surveyed the crowd with calm composure and began to speak.
“The Council President has issued an order: According to Protocol 6, whenever a VI Type Alien Race or cha appears on the battlefield, the Federation will unseal the VI Generation chas. Therefore, the Federation will return the VI Generation chas to Rain Capital and Sky Do City!”
Gakels, upon hearing Long Bai’s words, revealed a deeply shocked expression on his aged face. He hadn’t expected Long Bai to agree.
Alicia and Farren were montarily in disbelief.
Their proposal had passed.
