The projection images quickly finished playing.
Long Bai fell into silence.
Seeing Long Bai silent, Ferion tentatively complained to Jone.

Now the Fanluo God Emperor is furious, dispatching large numbers of troops to search and eliminate them. She gazed at the projected image of Su Ming manipulating Ilyas, a faint smile appearing on her cold face beneath the mask.

Su Ming lay on the bed, an IV drip attached to his hand.
An Ruoxue, Celeste, and Dr. Oliga were standing by his side.
“Oliga, can you handle this? Aren’t you supposed to be the top researcher in the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country? Why hasn’t Su Ming woken up yet?”
Celeste vented at Dr. Oliga.
In the past year, Celeste had beco quite familiar with Dr. Oliga and the others.
Oliga replied with a wry smile.
“It’s really baffling. I’ve already used rare Star Spirit Blood to cleanse his system, it should work. Plus, the contamination levels should have caused a mutation, but he’s just not changing, it’s very strange!”
“Don’t make excuses, if Dr. Blakes were here, Su Ming would have been awake already!”
Celeste said angrily.
“Sigh~”
Oliga had no retort against Celeste’s words.
“Alright, stop arguing. I believe Su Ming will wake up one day.”
An Ruoxue softly said, looking at the comatose Su Ming.
Oliga, hearing An Ruoxue’s words, felt a bit awkward and said,
“I suddenly rembered a newly developed drug and so unfinished tasks, I’ll take my leave now!”
“I’ll go with you, help keep an eye on things.”
Celeste quickly said.
“Alright, let’s go.”
Oliga then left the ward with Celeste.
Very soon, only An Ruoxue remained in the room, quietly watching Su Ming.
After a while, the door to the ward swung open, and a nurse ca in carrying warm water and a towel, respectfully saying,
“Miss, I’m here to help clean General Su Ming’s body.”
“Just leave it, I’ll do it myself.”
An Ruoxue calmly replied.
“Alright!”
The nurse then placed the basin down and respectfully exited.
An Ruoxue picked up the basin and sat by Su Ming, skillfully undoing his clothes and carefully wiping his body with a gentle towel.
Her gaze fell on Su Ming’s unconscious face, and she suddenly beca lost in thought, reminiscing about their first eting at the Imperial Court Academy.
She was especially close to Lin Chuyu at the ti and had heard about a suitor who foolishly threatened suicide for her.
Back then, she thought the person was foolish and weak, but she was unexpectedly impressed when she first t Su Ming.
With further interaction, she found Su Ming to be upright, intelligent, highly capable, principled, and courteous, completely unlike soone who was clingy and fragile, unknowingly drawn to him.
Later on, she saw Su Ming chase after Lin Chuyu all the way to Bright Star Sea. At that mont, she was truly envious, wishing she had soone so wonderful pursuing her.
What upset An Ruoxue the most was Lin Chuyu pushing such an excellent person away, while even if An Ruoxue pursued him, he’d have none of it.
Thinking of this, An Ruoxue beca increasingly frustrated.
As she continued wiping his lower body, she curiously squeezed a carrot-like object.
The feeling puzzled her; Su Ming’s physical functions were normal, yet he wasn’t interested in her. Was it possible she was truly unattractive?

Su Ming sat alone on a throne, motionless.
The surrounding scenes kept changing, illusory figures appearing and vanishing, chaotic voices echoing in Su Ming’s ears.

“Why treat us so coldly and ruthlessly?”
“King, we promised to create a new world together, you can’t give up!”

Su Ming stared silently at these past visions, feeling very tired, unsure if experiencing more just wears a person down.
For a mont, he felt quite confused.
Suddenly, Su Ming sensed an unusual feeling in his body, followed by a glimr of light brightening the pitch-black world.
