An Ruoxue’s eyes were a bit unfocused, her whole body motionless.
“Ruoxue, what are you doing?”
A familiar voice sounded at that mont.
“Nothing!”
An Ruoxue was startled, quickly letting go of her hand and speaking nervously.
Then An Ruoxue suddenly ca to her senses, turned her head to look at Su Ming, their eyes t, and her eyes imdiately reddened with joy as she cried and hugged Su Ming.
“Su Ming, you’re awake!”
“Yes, but could you help get dressed first?”
Su Ming replied sowhat awkwardly.
“Sure!”
An Ruoxue quickly helped Su Ming adjust his clothes.
“Ruoxue, where is this place?”
Su Ming slowly turned his head, surveying the room, and asked with a bit of a headache.
“This is the Holy Shadow Fortress.”
An Ruoxue replied, her eyes moist.
“Did we escape?”
Su Ming asked in a sowhat hoarse voice.
“Yes, don’t worry about it, we escaped a long ti ago.”
An Ruoxue answered Su Ming.
“How long was I in a coma? Why does my head feel so heavy?”
Su Ming felt his head was dizzy and heavy.
An Ruoxue was montarily stunned by Su Ming’s question, unsure of how to answer.
“What is it?”
Seeing An Ruoxue’s odd expression, Su Ming asked puzzledly.
“Su Ming, you’ve been in a coma for five months.”
An Ruoxue told Su Ming.
“Five months? Hiss!”
Su Ming was equally shocked to hear An Ruoxue’s words, reflexively sitting up and inhaling sharply from the pain.
An Ruoxue quickly supported Su Ming, advising him with concern.
“Su Ming, don’t get excited!”
“It’s okay, I was just startled.”
Su Ming gradually cald down.
“I’ll notify Dr. Oliga and the others to co over and check your body.”
An Ruoxue raised her bracelet and tapped a few tis, sending out the ssage.
Soon after, Oliga and Celeste hurried back.
“Su Ming, you’re finally awake! I knew you wouldn’t die.”
Celeste shouted excitedly.
“Sorry to make you worry.”
Su Ming forced a smile and said to Celeste.
Oliga quickly ca forward to give Su Ming a full-body examination,
At this mont, hurried footsteps were heard, and Coronan and Emkain rushed in; seeing Su Ming awake, they spoke excitedly.
“General Su Ming, you’re awake.”
“Yes!”
Su Ming looked at Coronan and Emkain and replied politely.
“You’ve been in a coma for so long, do you feel any discomfort anywhere?”
Coronan quickly inquired.
“No, thank you for your concern.”
Su Ming forced a smile and replied.
“Don’t say that, we haven’t gotten the chance to thank you. If it weren’t for you, we would have been trapped long ago.”
Coronan said with great emotion.
“No need to be so polite, An Ruoxue and I are very good friends.”
Su Ming smiled and said to Coronan.
“Yes, Dr. Oliga, how is General Su Ming’s condition?”
Coronan nodded and asked.
“Well, the contamination on his body is still severe, but he hasn’t mutated after all this ti, and he’s now awake, so there shouldn’t be any life-threatening danger. As long as he rests well, he should recover.”
Oliga thought for a mont and replied.
“Very well, General Su Ming, you should rest well. We won’t disturb you. We’ll co to see you once you’ve recovered so more.”
Coronan said to Su Ming.
“Alright!”
Su Ming nodded.

Several days later.
In the advanced ward, Su Ming lay in bed staring blankly at the white ceiling.
An Ruoxue walked in with a water basin, smiling as she looked at Su Ming lost in thought.
“What are you daydreaming about?”
“Nothing.”
Su Ming ca back to his senses and replied.
“Let help you wash up.”
An Ruoxue walked over to Su Ming’s side and began to wring out a towel.
“No need, I can move now. I’ll do it myself.”
Su Ming then sat up, intending to get out of bed to wash himself.
“No need, just lie down. Besides, this isn’t the first ti I’ve done it, I’ve seen it all, no need to be so shy.”
An Ruoxue pressed Su Ming back onto the bed, playfully saying to him.
“Ahem, Ruoxue, how is your situation now?”
Su Ming coughed awkwardly and then changed the subject.
An Ruoxue sighed while wiping Su Ming and said.
“Very bad. After Saint Diman Planet fell, the Fanluo God Emperor was furious and sent a large force to hunt us down. We are now hiding like mice.”
“Hmm.”
Su Ming responded, sowhat silently listening.
At that mont, Coronan also walked in, smiling as he looked at Su Ming and asked.
“General Su Ming, are you feeling any better?”
“Much better. I can get out of bed now.”
Su Ming replied gratefully.
“That’s good.”
Coronan nodded and replied.
“Lord Coronan, there’s sothing I’d like to ask you for help with.”
Su Ming calmly said to Coronan.
“Please, as long as it’s sothing I can do, I won’t decline.”
“Can you send back to the Federation?”
“Well, General Su Ming, listen to . The Federation is in a very bad situation right now. The Three Forbidden Zones and Tidal Star Sea are being attacked by the Alien Race, the Dark Star Empire, and the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country; the war is very critical. It’s very dangerous for you to return now; it’s better to stay here.”
Coronan briefly explained the situation to Su Ming.
Upon hearing Coronan’s words, Su Ming’s brow furrowed tightly, realizing that it’s not just bad, it’s a complete disaster, as if everyone was ganging up on the Federation.
He asked, sowhat puzzled.
