Shattering Humanity Chapter 9: "I’m Sorry"

The General regains his composure and looks around.

GENERAL: "What are you waiting for? Them to pull the triggers themselves?!! FIRE!!!"

All the n around even so above are shooting at the beast. The bullets have no effect and are bouncing off. The creature smiles and lets out an extrely loud shriek. Most soldiers stop shooting and put their hands over their ears. So pass out and others start to run in fear. When the monster stops it blows out a bluish purple "fla" towards everyone. It engulfs everyone in its vicinity. You can hear n and won screaming in pain.

SOLDIER IN FLAS: "Ahhhhh!! ITS SOO COLD!! MY SKIN IS FREEZING HELP !!!!"

The dragon flies up and spreads more Ice flas. It engulfs more people.

Richie ’s portlly body is trying to climb up the steep crater. Dad is at the top with his hand outstretched.

DAD: "CO ON RICH! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE AND TO OUR FAMILIES!"

Richie cannot climb up the dirt wall. Suddenly there is sounds of wind and things falling. Katsu’s dad looks up and sees teors everywhere, 1000s, falling towards the planet. All in the sa blue and purple trails.

DAD: "What the hell is going on!?!"

Dad looks back forward and sees the Ice dragon flying towards them.

DAD: "RICHIEEEE!!!!!"

Richie turns his head back half way up and the dragon snatches him with its claws. It pins him to the dirty wall then brings him up. Blood coming from his nose. Slow motion from Richies point of view being brought up and away from Katsu’s father. Ti goes back to regular pace as the dragon throws Rich into the air,

Richie(last thought): *Shelly... I’m sorry*

Her cute smile in his mind.

DAD: "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

The dragon crunches down on the pitiful man, whole.

Dad wipes tears from his eyes and runs towards the buses. A driver has already started one and closes the door behind Dad. The driver goes as fast as he can away from the site. Dad looks out the window and sees other buses have done the sa. teors are falling everywhere around them, so bigger than others. Dad watches as buses get hit with teors big enough to destroy them.

DAD: "I can’t believe this. I have to get ho."

The bus is swerving teors that have already fallen. Katsu’s father can see the city all of a sudden the back off the bus is crushed by a teor. The bus cos to a halt and the driver is outside of the bus, a hole in the glass of the windshield. Dad gets out of the bus and starts running ho. A space shot of earth shows the teors surrounding the planet, from every possible angle, to hit everywhere on the planet.
