ng Xiuying had reached 200,000 followers on Weibo. Aside from the huge boost from online novels, this number was also thanks to the film and television contracts already signed for "City" and "Cook." In the promotional efforts by the crew, the original author, Ming Xiu, also purposely highlighted the six songs previously written by Gong Mingxia to boost publicity, resulting in a swift increase in followers on Weibo.
200,000 followers is neither a small nor a large number but, at least within her industry, she was already considered outstanding.
After Gong Mingxia entrusted this matter to ng Xiuying, she agreed without a second thought.
Thus, without any dia promotion, ng Xiuying organized the docunts sent by Gong Mingxia, and on December 25, 2008, Christmas Day, she exposed the evil deeds of the Gong Family in Y city of H province. The issue of Gong Mingxia being replaced was especially highlighted.
Initially, the Weibo post didn’t garner much reaction, but they were willing to spend money for trending searches. After continuously investing money and getting attention, once they had spent one hundred fifty thousand yuan (advanced by ng Xiuying), mainstream dia started to take notice. With mainstream dia involved, it was hard to remain unnoticed.
The result was that ng Xiuying’s Weibo post went viral, even leading her forr record company to call her to verify the authenticity of the matter.
Gong Mingxia unhesitatingly told them that she was indeed the person who had been replaced and hoped they could offer their support.
In these years, with the impact of the internet, the recording industry had suffered greatly. Desperate for Gong Mingxia to write songs for them, the record company, in an attempt to appease her, even asked their singers to promote and share the Weibo post.
This move was incredible; with celebrities involved, the Education Departnt directly nad Beijing Business University to investigate the matter thoroughly.
anwhile, the Gong Family in Y city, H province, initially unaware that their vile acts had been exposed, only realized the gravity when the Weibo post went viral. When officials from various departnts and Gong Mingxia’s alma mater, including teachers, approached their ho, they felt as if the sky was about to fall.
Because the issues revealed by Gong Mingxia weren’t limited to just one; others included the Gong Family’s embezzlent, bribery, a son causing a fatal accident while driving under influence, and a daughter who was unwed and had three children – sending two away and letting Zhang Liang take the bla for the last one. She detailed everything, and there were even attached photos and audio proving her claims.
Gong Mingxia struck swiftly, harshly, and precisely, leaving the Gong Family no room to fight back. The incident, starting in December 2008, fernted until March 2009. The year wasn’t even properly celebrated; the entire city was disrupted by the event. So even sought out Gong Mingxia’s hotown to persuade her, but she had already severed ties and they didn’t know her whereabouts, getting no response from contacting ng Xiuying’s Weibo.
Even the Household Registration System information had been specially modified by Cao Yuan, so even direct involvent from high officials yielded nothing.
Although Gong Mingxia didn’t appear in public, she recorded a video with her identity obscured, discussing the various injustices she had suffered over the years as a victim. She also ntioned that her ex-husband was now the current husband of Gong, and ironically, the child they had wasn’t Zhang Liang’s because Zhang Liang had divorced her on the grounds of being infertile. But, indeed, her daughter was biologically Zhang Liang’s, which could be proven by a DNA test.
