Since the shadow was still aggressively trying to fight back, it wasn’t the right ti to do anything to it.
Instead, I went over to the divine energy earth cage that contained the button.
If this thing really was the final Relic of Destruction, then I would be able to sense it.
Out of everyone, I was the best person to check this button.
After all, I had the best protection and the most experience when it ca to the Relics of Destruction.
Through the divine energy earth cage, I could feel that power coming from the button. This was a power that was just like the one that I felt from the Relics of Destruction that I had interacted with previously.
But at the sa ti, it felt a bit more raw compared to the other Relics of Destruction.
It felt like there was sothing that was closer to the source when it ca to this button.
I didn’t bring down the cage that was around it since I could feel that there was still corruption energy that was coming from the button. Instead, I sent my divine energy inside of the cage to suppress the corruption energy that was coming from the button.
That divine energy went inside of the cage and soon suppressed the button that was inside.
The divine energy wrapped around the button and ford a kind of barrier around it that prevented it from leaking out energy.
I was actually surprised that the divine energy that I released was enough to suppress this. But if I had to justify it, it was most likely because the power of the button had already been drained because of everything that had happened before.
Once the divine energy suppressed the button, that was when I finally released the divine energy earth cage to reveal it.
Once the cage was released, the shadow slamd into the cage that it was trapped in as if it wanted to break free and grab the button. But the mont that it slamd into the cage, the only thing that happened was that smoke ca from it.
It was as if the shadow was being burned because it made contact with the cage.
It tried to push through the pain at first as it was staring at the button as if that was the only thing that mattered. But in the end, it seed like it had no choice but to back down.
The shadow seed like it couldn’t take the pain anymore with the way that it suddenly moved away from the cage.
Instead, it turned to as if it was glaring at since I had grabbed the button off the ground.
"Hand it over human, you can’t possibly hope to use it."
The shadow spoke as if it was in charge, but really it was nothing more than prey that was caught in a cage.
I couldn’t help shaking my head with a faint smile when I saw the shadow acting this way, but I didn’t say anything in response as I just calmly looked down on the shadow.
The shadow looked back at , but slowly it seed like it was losing ground.
It was as if the shadow was feeling the pressure that I was putting on it.
Then all of a sudden, the shadow said, "Who are you? How do you have this divine presence to you?"
I didn’t say anything, but I could see the strange looks that were cast in my direction by the others. Though the worst looks that I received were the ones that ca from the people of the Holy Empire.
It was clear that there was a look of worship in their eyes when they heard the words ’divine presence’.
This was the way that they would look at a god that they worshipped...
This was not the way that I wanted them to look at since it was easy to create a misunderstanding like this.
But I just ignored all of this as I looked down at the shadow and said, "Who are you and what is this thing?"

When the shadow saw this, it seed like it wanted to reach out to grab the button. But of course, the only thing that happened was that the shadow hurt itself from trying to reach its hand out.
There was smoke that ca from its body as soon as it made contact with the cage.
I shook my head before saying, "This is clearly a Relic of Destruction, but where did it co from? And most importantly, where did you co from with a Relic of Destruction?"
The shadow seed to calm down a bit when it heard this.
There was a silence that lingered in the air before the shadow said, "You know about the God of Destruction, then you should know what it ans to go against his will. If you don’t want to suffer, then accept that his will is inevitable and the world will be destroyed."
It seed that there was no talking to this shadow.
In fact, it seed like it was a fanatic believer of the God of Destruction with the way that it spoke.
This was similar to sothing else that I had t before.

It was as if the shadow had lost all fear, but the better way to say it was that the shadow didn’t seem to care anymore.
It understood that it wouldn’t be able to do anything to the cage around it and this was most likely the end for it. As such, it seed like it wanted to cause as much trouble as possible before its end.
That was why it didn’t hesitate to run its mouth like this.
