When I said this, the others ca back to their senses and rembered the reason that we had co here in the first place.
The gnos in particular imdiately headed in the direction of the barrier under the lead of Grandpa Stumps.
He took out a potion that he threw at the barrier that soon created a hole in the barrier.
The barrier itself was still there, but there was a hole that had been created that would allow them to enter.
However, this was a small hole that was only big enough for gnos to pass.
At the sa ti, he was the only one that entered the barrier.
After entering the barrier, he turned around to say, "Give so ti to check on them and bring them out. It'll scare them if all of us enter the cave at once."
Since the gnos had no problem with this, there was nothing that the rest of us could say.
After all, this was the land of the gnos in the first place.
So what they said was what happened here.
While waiting for Grandpa Stumps to co back with the rest of the gnos, I went over to Angil to take a closer look at him as well as have a talk with him.
When Angil saw coming over, he was naturally wary. But compared to before, it seed that he was more receptive towards as he saw what had happened with the shadow.
"Is there sothing wrong?" Angil asked after I ca over.
Though he asked this in a calm voice, it was clear that he was scared as if I had co over with a specific reason.
To comfort him, I said, "I just want to ask you a few questions. Or rather, I want to get to know you a bit better."
Angil looked a bit surprised and a bit confused when he heard this, but he eventually nodded in agreent as he waited for to ask my questions.
"What do you think was the best choice of actions for the gnos? Do you think that it was best for them to keep isolating themselves like this?"
There was a strange and confused look that appeared on Angil's face when he heard this.
It was clear that he didn't understand why I would be asking him sothing like this all of a sudden, but I didn't explain my question as I waited for him to answer it.
The expression on Angil's face slowly changed as it beca more and more complicated.
It was as if the more that he thought about the question that I posed, the more thoughts that appeared on his mind. It was as if there were many different things that he was thinking about with the way that his expression changed.
After a while, Angil finally said with a sigh, "It's not my place to say, but I do believe that the gnos have isolated themselves far too much. Take this incident as an example. While I was the one that caused it, there was no one that the gnos could rely on because we isolated ourselves. If only we've opened ourselves up to the rest of the world…"
Angil couldn't help giving another sigh before continuing by saying, "I know that it's asking for a lot to open ourselves up to the other races after what happened in the past, but what you've done for us is also proof that things have changed. While I still don't know how much has changed, I at least know that we need to change with the world."
Angil continued by saying a few more things on this topic, but I just stopped listening to what he said.
The reason that I had asked this was because I wanted to know one thing about Angil and the answer that he gave was more than enough for to figure this one thing out.
"Just like the shadow, it seems that there's sothing that he desires greatly. It isn't a bad thing that he wants this, but it seems like that desire for change is being manipulated."
The more that I thought about this, the more that sothing seed to stand out.
Is it because of their desire to change that the God of Destruction is able to manipulate them?
Is it because the God of Destruction desires sothing similar in that it wants to beco more than just the God of Destruction?
The more that I thought about this, the more likely that it seed.
It really felt like there was sothing that connected all of the Apostles of Destruction and the ones that they manipulated.
There was a part of that regretted not asking the Apostles of Destruction that I t before more questions.
But if the God of Destruction was like that, then did that an that it was being used as well?
The more that I thought about it, the more my head ached since it seed like it was too complicated.
It really seed like there was so kind of complicated relationship between the gods.
Especially between the God of Creation and the God of Destruction.
I was pulled out of my thoughts by the barrier suddenly disappearing. Or rather, I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of Angil reacting to the barrier disappearing.
Though he had a strong reaction to the barrier disappearing, it also seed like he was afraid of this.
It seed like he was afraid to actually go towards the cave now that the barrier was gone.
This was understandable since he was the one that had caused the disaster in the first place.
I naturally had no idea how they would react to him when they saw him again since I didn't know anything about the gnos.
But that didn't an that I should just stand here and wait for him.
That was why I left him alone here and headed towards the cave.
