Once those two days were up, there was no need for us to remain in the Brownie Kingdom any longer.

I made sure to say this in a firm voice so that the gods would give the answer that I wanted.
After asking this, I could see that the gods were surprised by the tone of voice that I was speaking to them in, but I didn't change that tone or the expression on my face as I waited for an answer.
