My lips couldn't help twitching when I heard Solista say this.
At the sa ti, I could see the way that the other gods acted after she said this.
There was a part of that was wondering if the gods were just ssing with at this point.
But there was a bigger part of that knew the reason why she said this.
It was simply because we had no idea where the forces of Destruction were.
Even if we wanted to do sothing about the forces of Destruction, we really couldn't since we wouldn't be able to find them to do anything to them.
So far, the only tis that we've found the forces of Destruction was when they showed themselves to us.
It was always them that took the initiative and never us…
As this thought passed through my mind, I couldn't help looking at the gods with narrowed eyes.
When I did this, the gods suddenly turned away as if they didn't want to look at . It was clear that they were trying to avoid my gaze with how they turned when I looked at them.
But that was because they knew why I was looking at them like this.
"We can't intervene, it'll break the balance." Solista said in their place in the end.
I already knew that she would say this, so I just gave a simple nod before saying, "Alright, send back. Since I don't have to do anything, I want to spend so ti with my daughters."
As soon as I said this, the scene around started to change.
It didn't take long before I returned to the church once more.
But there was a strange look that was on my face as I saw the church around .
After all, the way that they sent back was strange.
It was too sudden, almost as if they were afraid of .
Was it just because of the question that I wanted to ask or was it sothing else?
In the end, it wasn't as if I would be able to get any answers out of the gods, so I just chose to follow my plan and head back to the Kite Kingdom as soon as possible.
After everything that had happened, I planned on getting so rest and relaxation.
Or that was the original plan…
"Oh you're back. Let's get you fitted for your suit then."
That was the first thing that my wives said when they saw .
I could tell from the different people that were running around and the pile of papers that they had that they were completely swamped with sothing. Though from the few glimpses that I had of the things that they were taking care of, it didn't seem like they were doing their normal jobs.
It really seed like there was sothing strange about what they were doing.
So I couldn't help asking, "What new suit? What do I need a suit for?"
Rose looked at with a raised brow before asking, "Wouldn't it be strange if you didn't have a proper suit for your own wedding? It won't be long now and if you don't get it ready soon, we really won't make it in ti."
"My wedding?" I couldn't help repeating in a confused voice.
Rose just gave a simple nod before saying, "Before you left to handle the matter with the gnos, you had already agreed to the proposal of the other races. We heard about everything that happened and there's really no better ti for this. After all, there's no telling when the forces of Destruction will be making their next move."
I couldn't help slowly shaking my head before saying, "Is there a need to rush this?"
A serious look appeared on Rose's face as soon as she heard this.
She even looked at as if she was trying to figure out if I was being serious, but that just made her take this even more seriously when she realized that I was being serious about this.
"You already agreed to this, so this isn't sothing that can be taken back."
An awkward look appeared on my face as I said, "But there's no need to rush this. Just the engagent announcent should be more than enough, right?"
Rose actually shook her head at this before saying, "Right now is a sensitive ti for the different races of the continent. While we have agreed to co together to fight against the forces of Destruction, that doesn't an that the humans have completely co to accept the other races. It is only our kingdom that has been able to break down this barrier, if we have even broken it at all. After all, it isn't as if we can force the people to accept the other races."
She suddenly stepped forward before saying in an even louder voice, "That is why it's important to strike while the iron is hot. We have to show the world the next step in interracial relationships by having you fulfill this promise."
An awkward look appeared on my face when I heard this.
After all, it really sounded like this was being forced onto us because of pressure from outside influences. It really didn't seem like sothing that we wanted to do ourselves…
When Rose saw this, the expression on her face relaxed a bit, but she still had that serious look as she said, "I know what you're thinking, but do you really intend to keep them waiting indefinitely? These young ladies have decided on a future with you, so will you really keep making them wait for it?"
"Ah…" I couldn't help being taken aback when she said this before turning to look at Ariel who was in the room with us.
I couldn't see Isra who was too big to fit in this room, but I knew that she was listening in on this conversation as well.
I could see the way that Ariel looked away from , but that was more than enough to show what she was feeling.
As a man…how could I not feel guilty seeing her act this way?
With a sigh, I said, "Alright, tell what you're planning to do. If I have any objections, then I'll give them to you. I don't want this to beco a show for the others."
Rose gave a simple nod in response before revealing a smile to show that she agreed with .
