This was sothing that I had already seen before, though it wasn’t exactly the sa.
This was similar to how the Fenrir had summoned the God of Wind into her body to speak to .
So after a while, it seed like the God of Night finally descended into Zeldir’s body.
The first thing that this God of Night said was...
"You most likely don’t know , but I know a lot about you. You could even say that I’m a fan of yours."
What the God of Night said certainly didn’t seem like sothing that a god would say, but there was no hesitation that ca from the God of Night when they said this.
I could hear the sincerity that was in the God of Night’s voice when it said this.
This was completely different from how the God of Wind had acted previously.
For the God of Night to act like this...was it because they weren’t a major god in the first place?
After all, I had never heard much about the God of Night to begin with.
That was the only reason that I could think of that would explain the God of Night acting differently from the rest of the gods.
After a mont of awkward silence, I said, "Thank you, I appreciate that."
To be honest, I really didn’t know what to say since I was still surprised by what the God of Night had said. It really felt strange to know that there was a god that was a fan of a mortal like .
But in the end, I recovered and asked, "What did you want to talk to about?"
"It’s nothing important, I just wanted to et you as a fan."
My lips couldn’t help twitching when I heard this, but I held myself back in the end.
I didn’t really believe that this was the only thing that this God of Night wanted to the point that it would send its ssenger like this.
So I just waited to see what the God of Night really wanted.
Only there was silence that followed as the possessed Zeldir just looked at without saying anything.
"Then if there’s nothing else, will you be heading back?" I asked with a cough in the end.
"Already?" The God of Night said at first, but then it changed its tone before saying, "Actually, there’s sothing else that I wanted to discuss with you."
I wasn’t surprised to hear this since this was what I had been expecting the entire ti.
I just didn’t expect the God of Night to only say sothing after being prompted like this.
"Since you’ve made it all this way, that ans that you are entitled to receive my help. However, it isn’t as if I have that much power in the first place, so I can only send my ssenger to follow you. I hope that you won’t look down on him."
I certainly wouldn’t do so since it was a ssenger of the gods like the Fenrir.
At the sa ti, it was an acquaintance of the Fenrir so it shouldn’t be that weak.
That did raise the question of why this Zeldir would be following the God of Night who was supposed to be a minor god in the first place.
It made sense for the Fenrir to be powerful since it was a follower of a major god like the God of Wind. But for Zeldir to be equal to the Fenrir even though it was a follower of the God of Night.
"He was with the entire ti, even before growing into what he is now. I’ve told him many tis that he can find a new god to serve, but he never chose to do so." The God of Night suddenly said as if it had read my mind.
I knew that it hadn’t actually read my mind since that had been long sealed, so I knew that it was because of the expression that I was showing on my face.
That made reveal an awkward look since I didn’t think that I had made it that obvious.
With an awkward cough, I said, "I understand. Thank you for your help."
"Anything for my idol." The God of Night responded right away which put another awkward look on my face.
It was at this ti that Dorothy peeked out from behind at the possessed Zeldir.
At the sa ti, the God of Night said, "Ah, the Child of Destruction. It’s interesting that this child was able to find her way to your side in the end and it’ll be interesting to see how this will end."
The mont that the God of Night said this, I couldn’t help deeply knitting my brows.
It was clear that the God of Night knew sothing about Dorothy that I didn’t know, so I said, "What do you an by Child of Destruction?"
The possessed Zeldir shook when it heard this before awkwardly saying, "I don’t know what you an."
I narrowed my eyes even more when I heard this and I started pressuring it to answer my question, but the God of Night eventually said, "This was a mistake on my part and this is sothing that I can’t tell you about. I’m already in trouble for saying too much about this matter."
"Then is there any way to help her?" I said in a firm voice.
The God of Night didn’t say anything else in response as the divine energy around Zeldir seed to start fading. With the divine energy fading, it seed like the God of Night was trying to run away.
There was nothing that I could say about this, I could only look at it with a disappointed look.
As if it felt pressure from this disappointed look, the God of Night finally said, "This is sothing that you have to face on your own. It’s not a bad thing that she’s by your side, she might even help you one day."
With that, the God of Night ran away.
