"What if the spirits and elentals t?" That was a thought that popped in my head all of a sudden.
There was nothing for to do since I was just waiting to fully fill up the rock pillar with divine energy.
In that case, I decided that it would be interesting to see what would happen if the spirits and elentals t.
After all, to a certain extent, it wasn’t as if they were that different from each other.
Spirits and elentals were both involved with elental energy, though they did control it in different ways.
Still, it ant that there was so kind of intersection between the two races.
But the mont that they t with each other, it was clear that there was sothing else at play here. It didn’t seem like either side wanted to et with each other with how silent they were.
Though they both clearly worshipped the gods, it seed like they didn’t like each other.
"It’s the cronies of the gods."
That was what the elder said after a long silence.
The Spirit Kings didn’t seem like they were happy with this, but they didn’t say anything to deny what the elder said.
When they acted like this, I couldn’t help feeling very strange watching them.
"What happened?"
Neither side answered this question when I asked it and it didn’t seem like they were keen to tell anything about this issue. With the way that they acted, it was as if they were willing to take whatever secrets they had to their grave.
Of course that just made even more curious.
Since the Spirit Kings had been summoned here by , it wasn’t as if they could just disappear when they wanted. That was part of the contract, so they had to appear when I called for them.
Though I could clearly see the way that they were looking at as if they wanted to send them back.
In the end, I forced them to remain in the sa place until they talked.
"It would only make sense that the cronies of the gods would follow the god’s representative around, but you should keep your distance or else you’ll corrupt him."
"What do you an by corrupt?"
When I asked this, the elder fell silent again as if it wasn’t willing to answer .
Only this ti, the Spirit Kings didn’t remain silent.
"What you call corruption is nothing more than your silly nonsense. You were unwilling to follow the gods in the end and bla us for doing what was right." Ifrit said with a snort.
"You’re just sore losers." Undine said in a snooty tone.
The way that they acted made the relationship between them very clear, though there was a part of that was still wondering just how close they were in the past.
At the sa ti, it gave an idea of the relationship that they had with the gods.
Though it certainly did raise more questions about what kind of past the elentals had.
They had said that they had fought with the gods in the past, but it didn’t seem as simple as they had put it. After all, from what the Spirit Kings said, it seed that the gods valued them far more than just that.
At the sa ti, there was no way that the elentals were just simple helpers if they received this rock pillar from the God of Creation.
Though in the end, it wasn’t as if I could make them say anymore than this.
It was clear that once the conversation reached a certain point, neither side was willing to say sothing else.
With the look on their faces, it was almost as if they were afraid of saying anything else.
It was as if there was sothing that was restraining them.
I didn’t know exactly what it was, but it was obvious that it was sothing that they regarded as above them.
Which ant that the only thing that it could be was the gods suppressing them.
Both sides had a deep connection to the gods, but neither side was able to say anything about it.
In a way, it was funny how similar they were even though they acted like this.
Since they weren’t going to say anything, I knew that there was nothing to gain from continuing to push them with questions.
Though there was one thing that I did have to ask.
"Which race is stronger?"
The mont that this question was asked, it was as if the floodgates opened and both sides started telling about their abilities.
Poking at their pride had been more effective than I thought as they started telling all kinds of things. There were things that I didn’t even know about when it ca to the Spirit Kings.
As such, I now knew that there were things that the Spirit Kings could do that they had been hiding from the entire ti.
It seed that they had been hiding certain powers from so that I wouldn’t call on them for certain things.
But poking at their pride really forced out all the things that they wanted to hide.
Even if they normally weren’t filled with pride, it was easy to provoke them when there was a rival here that forced out that pride.
Though what I could do with this information in this place was certainly limited.
At the sa ti, unless they used divine energy....
In the end, there wasn’t anything that I could do other than watch them fight with each other still.
It seed like they had gotten used to not saying anything that they shouldn’t, so the only things that they were saying now were insults towards each other.
It was strange seeing this kind of relationship between the spirits and elentals since they were very similar beings in the first place.
But this was clearly sothing that had to be with their past.
